Unlikely Triple H will sit it out if AEW are runnin' Jan 1st or maybe it's an experiment to see how many viewers they get unchallenged by NXT.

I forgot bout Shanna but now I recall the recap and it was web exclusive so I already don't care. Web and ad break exclusives, great story telling. Feels like they want to change a generation that has a short attention span, good luck. I guess since Kong is already bad ass they're trying to make Nyla a bad ass so they can square off at some point. I guess Kong will beat Riho, who has disappeared and I struggled to remember her name lol, and Nyla will challenge or triple threat and probably at the next PPV which may as well be in 2022 at this point. To his credit Jericho pulls off larger than life well. Moxley is sort of getting there but is still missing something. He has like a Warriors movie vibe. Perhaps less of the lollygagging in his entrance, almost could be classed a parody of Cassidy now I think about it. His music is cool at the beginning but it's more of a chore the longer it runs so if he gets to it quick it might seem cooler. Start fighting right after Roberts finishes so we still get that cos it's kinda his thing lol. Moxley doesn't seem like the type to wait for the ref to faff about. Anyway it's not good all these nit picky things are showing and NXT rarely has any of that. Maybe they should get someone to do QC before it turns into latter WCW. Ugh, exaggerating now lol. BUT I just remembered they had Moxley do crappy comedy which was awkward during the Janela promo. It didn't work for me and Jericho wouldn't have let that happen. I know everyone laughed but it was delayed almost as if we can't let one of our faves look like shite sympathy laugh. |

Sorry for coming into the thread late guys. Huge wrestling fan and love all the major promotions.
What do you think of Tessa Blanchard and Sami Callihan? I feel Tessa is the best thing going on in Impact at the moment |

Callihan plays a good total prick and his look definitely helps emphasize that and Tessa has built a bad ass reputation.

Goldberg Reacts to Bret Hart's Recent Comments, Says He Still Regrets Career-Ending Kick
insidetheropes comicbooks.com Connor Casey Dec 22, 2019 Bret Hart made waves online back in October when, during an interview on the Prime Time With Sean Mooney podcast, he argued that Bill Goldberg shouldn't be in the WWE Hall of Fame because of the number of wrestlers he injured throughout his career. That list infamously includes "The Hitman," whom Goldberg concussed with a Superkick during their Starrcade match in 1999 that cut Hart's in-ring career short. Hart would be forced to retire months later, while Goldberg would continue to work for WCW until the company folded in 2001, then had his first stint with the WWE in 2003. "I wish that Bill Goldberg had never kicked me in the head as hard as he could," Hart said. "I don't know how you give a guy a Hall of Fame thing for hurting as many wrestlers as Bill Goldberg hurt, and without consequence. He usually got a pat on the back and told how good of job he did out there, when you're scraping the wrestler that worked with him off the mat. "When Bill Goldberg kicked me in the head, I honest to God, I lost about 16 million dollars in like one second," he continued. "I just signed with WCW for three million a year for another three years on top of the two years I had left on my original contract, so it was bad timing, and unfortunate." Goldberg was asked about that situation during a recent interview with Inside The Ropes, and he also mentioned Hart's recent comments. "Bret 'The Hitman' Hart, man, his name and moniker speak for themselves, the lineage is unparalleled. It was an honor and a privilege [to work with him] and I very much looked up to him and listened to everything that he said. At the time there were a lot of people that gave their opinions and you didn't know whether they had their best interest at heart, you don't know if they had the company's best interest at heart or your best interest at heart. I still don't know, but I don't care because at the end of the day I can control what I can control and that's it. I'm not going to sit and complain about anything, I'm just going to go out and try and do my job. "I would've loved to have worked a little bit more with Bret Hart and I would've loved more than anything to have not kicked Bret Hart in the head and what happened, happened," he added. "There have been things said either by Bret or other people that I was malicious and he shouldn't have been in the ring with me. I'm really sorry man, but if I'd really wanted to hurt the guy, he would've never gotten up." He then said he would "forever be remorseful" for the kick. |

Moxley has the US title again, I suspect it's to have him give it to Juice like they were going to before the hurricane travel issue back in October. But it could be to set it up as a secondary in AEW?
Jericho has said if he loses, Tanahashi gets a shot at his AEW World title. And Ibushi lost right after using a V-trigger so maybe it's all just a ruse. I knew that the double gold match wouldn't have Switchblade in it, I think it's gotta be Naito taking all the gold tonight. |

Am I the only one who doesn't get all the support for Naito... Is he supposed to be a bad ass? He seems fairly tame apart from all the spit. I was supporting Okada cos he's fucking great and that entrance on the first dome show was epic but I guess the loyal NJPW fans are sick of him?
Also FinJuice is up there with Rybaxel... Not sure which one is worse. |
