It would be great if there only one or two perfect file hosts then we could all pay for subs. But I cant see it happening.

In response to your point; perfect doesn't exist. For example; the likes of Zippyshare and Suprafiles (which does offer payouts) offer the best downloading service, but don't appeal to money grabbers...

Thanks for your feedback, we will think what we can do to improve our service. By the way, if you have noticed we don't have any ads even for free users, which is one of the advantages of our host.

This is fucking bullshit!
First time I have downloaded anything from Filejoker in a long time!! This file right here: http://filejoker.net/d25jexq0ilnq From this post right here: http://veterperementour.ru/showpost.p...&postcount=422 As you can see, from my Chrome Browser list of active downloads, it's COMPLETE: Also as you can see from the file being on the desktop and from it's properties, it's also COMPLETE: But from the properties, you can also see after downloading for 3 FUCKING HOURS TO COMPLETION, it's ONLY 7 FUCKING BYTES!! Either the person, Simioni, who posted this file, didn't bother to check it to make sure it's a FULL WORKING FILE or he is trying to pull the WOOL on us or Filejoker is trying to pull some BS on us OR BOTH OF THE Poster and Filejokers are COMPLICIT! In all my years of being on the internet, over 20 years, I have never downloaded a file for hours to completion and being told it doesn't play because it's only 7 BYTES in size!! |

I've had that happen with many different hosts. The download interrupted, and since FileChoker doesn't allow resume (and a note to "MaxFJ", MOST sites DO allow resume even for free users as it's a waste of both theirs and your bandwidth to download it again from the start. Think about that.) it tried to restart and downloaded the text file that said "expired" (which is 7 bytes).
I normally don't download videos, particularly ones that take 5 hours to download but I have that very one running now and I'll see if it's playable but it's clearly over 7 bytes at this point. |

Well, it won't if it's only 7 bytes. Open it with a text editor. 50/50 odds it's the text "expired" (w/o quotes). I've had this happen, it's not just a FJ thing. Happens with any filehost with a short-lived download "token" and no resume capability. You initiate a download, solve the captcha, it gives you a download link that is only good for 60-120 minutes. You start the download. As long as the connection stays solid, it will complete. If the connection hiccups for whatever reason, since there's no resume it will attempt to start all over from the beginning. Within that 60 or 120 minute window it might actually restart, but once the time is up, the direct link "expires". It's no longer there, and when the download program tries to start the download again, all the host sends is a text file with the letters expired.
Yes, it sucks. And yes, that's why I rarely if ever download large files from those kinds of hosts. FJ, Filefox, UL, etc which have no resume capability. Unfortunately the vast majority of "single link" (unmirrored) files use FJ in PATM, so it's just a matter of waiting (hoping) that someone comes along and posts a usable mirror using a host that is at least half decent. Problem is, that file is rather large and that reduces the amount of viable hosts unless the file gets split. As I said, I'm running the DL now, but it still has almost 2 hours left. I've found a couple alternative links for that scene BUT they're all 900ish MB vs 1.6GB, and worse they're all on K2S or RG (I also haven't checked to see if they're still alive) |

4 hours later, it downloaded and played fine for me. I can try to load it up on supra if you still want it. I don't have an account anywhere else, and I don't feel like splitting the file.
