The Mage overlord was considered the most adept magician ever. His sorcery skills were said to even exceed those of the Dark lords. His powers had been used to stem the rise of the Dark lords for hundreds of years. His mighty power was said to reside in his staff of light and this was mostly true, but he held a dark secret. His power to keep the Dark lords of power at bay had forced him to fully understand the powers of the dark magic. This had tainted him. With this tainting darkness had lodged itself into his soul. He fought at all times to keep it at bay. When one of his young apprentices had snuck out with his powerful staff he had become enraged. The darkness had escaped if only for a moment. This darkness unleashed the hunters of the forest to find his staff. They were embedded with the growing lust he had felt for this young student. Soon she would feel his wrath. Soon she would feel his lust. Without his staff than contained most of his power, he was virtually helpless to stop, what in a flash, had escaped its dark cancerous confines. The hunters of the night were on the move. Only taking their fill of wrath and satiating their lust would stop them.
