I can't see Punk beating Rock, I'd like him to beat him, but I feel that Cena vs Rock is not finished and Cena will win the rematch for the title.
I agree that it could hurt morale if Rocky was off filming a movie, but I'm guessing none of the higher ups give a shit. |

The higher ups in WWE don't seem to be planning for the future. They make snap decisions from the hip without thinking of the long term consequences like giving people a title shot without earning it. A guy that hasn't wrestled in 7 years shows up and goes over your top babyface that wrestles every week? How much of a morale killer was that decision?
Another person (Layla) is on the shelf for a year healing and comes back to a surprise title shot the day she comes back and wins the title? I know the Layla fans like it but really thats a bad decision and makes very little sense as well as a morale killer for the other Divas. WWE does not seem to look past this months PPV and plan for down the road. All they care about if this months PPV buy rate and how many people are following on twitter. Its almost as if they know something we all don't (that the WWE is gonna disband and they are trying to get all the $$$ they can get before the business drops off). |

Punk going heel is a good thing right now because this is how high he going to get as a face a notch below John Cena, he's starting to get stale and overshadowed by the bigger stars pefect example was when the Rock came out during the D.Bryan-Punk segment.
Hopefully they let him run on his own for alittle bit because he was definitly held back by The New Nexus and the SES. Karmafan and Burtog (in the early post about the 1000 show) made very good points I like The Rock but, in no way he should deserve a title shot it so misleading on how they play it like he gonna go through the ranking to be number 1 contender and get a shot at the Championship instead he goes in the front of the line it would of made a lot more sense to just have him win MITB and say I'm cashing it in and challanging whoever champion at the Royal Rumble and with Layla just like Sevenchurches said about Santino it just a prop belt now and no one really care about it because the Divas rarely wrestle on Raw or SD and they are involved more in storylines.

I would like to see Show vs Rock, but since neither has a title, I think it would be more of an "opening" match. During the show, the WWE Universe voted for Punk vs Rock as "the match they want to see."
I still agree with other fans, if the Rock is "finally" back on RAW, then he should stick around to defend the title if he wins. None of that "here now,but off to make crappy movies until RAW needs more viewers." I think UT should team with Kane. I know he feels better with just 1 match/year, but Kane could do most of the wrestling. Is the UT really the "end of an era?" How long did the 5 Degeneration-X last? I thought they were only HBK and HHH. I think Brock held back on HHH. When Brock was attacking HHH in the corner, and HHH made it to the other corner, it looked as though Brock waited for HHH to gain his balance before Brock went after HHH again, and HHH over-took Brock at that point. I think Stephanie would make a better GM than AJ.

That DX faded away, whether it be injuries or whatever. Died a slow death. The 2002 reunion of Shawn and HHH was just a lie to get HHH and Shawn wrestling each other at SummerSlam. Shawn and Hunter reunited in 2006, lasted a couple months until HHH tore his 2nd quad. Then there was the PG DX that lasted pretty much as long as the 2006 DX. That's that. What happened on RAW had to be the very first time all those 5 guys shared a ring, as DX. Chyna was too busy finding her lost dog, Hachie (actually she was never contacted to appear on RAW, ah well). Rock beat Cena at Wrestlemania in his last match. The Rock is the premier league and those other two guys in the ring with him on Monday are division 1. He is still The Rock so that makes him a number one contender. |
