I'm using Charter Cable. Recently downgraded to the 30/3 package. DL speeds will depend largely upon your package speed AND whatever else you may be doing on your PC while downloading. Speeds can also be affected by the download manager (or lack thereof), AV or firewall, router config, etc.
Have you performed any speed testing for a baseline? Do you get faster speeds with other services? I doubt TWC is limiting you in any fashion, not that I've heard about anyway. |

I just started getting direct downloads on rapidgator premium instead of bring up a rapidgator page. Anyone know how to shut it off.

I have contacted their customer "service" dept. several times over the last couple of weeks. Their answers are always more or less the same. The service is working properly. They will not in any way address what download speeds I should be getting as a premium user. The problem must be mine. They tell me to contact my isp, I did. Nothing wrong on their end. I wish I could go to their doorstep and give them a big FYM.

Limitation on 400 megs for non subscribers.
What makes me angry is the limitation of 400 megs for non subscribers.
Message is : You can download files up to 400 MB in free mode Upgrade to premium to have opportunity to download files up to 5 GB! To subscribe I have to submit myself to the recurring billing. No Paypal accepted. I hate recurring billing, I don't trust in easy cancellation. With megaupload I lost almost one year on a pre paid subscription I used for only a few weeks. Also got fucked with the pre paid subscription on filesonic. I am getting deeply disappointed with these hosts. Uploaded.net has a ridiculous speed , just one DL per day , for free users. |

With recurring billing, they have always stopped mine when I unchecked the box for it.

Visa payment problems
Hi all,
I wonder if my bank or country (France) blocks rapidgator VISA payments... I tried unsuccessfully to get a premium account a week ago and again today. My problem: my bank sends me a confirmation number by sms but after validating it on rapidgator/my bank payment page, Rapidgator says the payment has been denied or cancelled. I can pay with my VISA, I could get a luckyshare account the same way (VISA + bank confirmation number sent by SMS) Do you know another way to pay for a Rapidgator premium membership with a VISA? it seems impossible with webmoney... |
