For as long as I can remember I thought the appropriate MITB winners would be Ziggler for RAW, and either Cody Rhodes or Wade Barrett (even before he got injured) for SD. Wade can make a sudden comeback, if Santino's in the SD one, he can just jump him prior to the match and come in as an official replacement. Those guys are the closest in getting to the main event, and unless Bryan swooped in and did a CM Punk deal, I can't think of anyone else.
Maybe Ryback will be in one of them and show his strength by lifting 2 ladders over his head and Cole just creams his pants on that. |

Pisses me off that Clay jobbed. At least it was a Pearl Harbor job from Jennifer's husband so it wasn't a clean squash by The Big Slow. I'm guessing Clay and Otunga are gonna feud.

As the biggest (only?) diva mark on the board, I guess it's up to me to post this:

The WWE signed indy wrestler "Buggy Nova" last week (her WWE-name is still to-be-determined). I've only seen a few of her matches, but she's decent and she's definitely easy on the eyes. (EDIT: Evidently the picture that I posted is already a question mark ... google her, I guess.) I'm still holding out hope that Christina Von Eerie gets hired by the WWE but this'll have to do for now. EDIT: And IRT the MITB winner(s) ... I'm under the presumption that they're only doing one match this year, and if that's the case, I'm guessing it goes to Ziggler. I don't know how they could do a "Raw" one and a "Smackdown" one with the end of the brand extension. If they do two, though, I guess the other one will go to Antonio Cesaro. |

I read about that and saw some pictures of her and thought that SaintsDecay might like her. I never heard of her though.
I hope this is a dark match main event... Quote:

so as it looks at this minute, one ladder match for the WWE title. Obviously CM Punk and Big Show in there, you would expect Kane and Bryan as well, throw Jericho in along with a couple others. Cena maybe. For an actual briefcase? Dolph Ziggler is the popular choice, even I'm thinking he should win. A couple of months back, I'd say Cody Rhodes could win, he has no momentum now , but that isn't really needed for a money in the bank winner, I guess in WWE mind, har har har we will kill this fool for 51 weeks, but then give him a briefcase to make it all better. Probably put the winner on a losing streak after the win as well :/ |

Oh yeah, they did that for Swagger when he won the briefcase. He was jobbing to Santino, not winning any championships, lacked relevancy for months, they he gets the briefcase, gets the world title days later, and in short time, tanks. Seems Daniel Bryan was an exception to that rule, lacked relevancy as well, but got jobbed out after winning the briefcase. Had not been for Mark Henry's injury, Bryan might not even be world champion. A recent interview with him, he said he thought for sure, he would be the first man to actually fail to cash in the MITB briefcase.

And again....Brodus jobs to the Big Show again....how freaking lame. I was hoping <tongue in cheek> that Ryback would come down and blast Big Show...that would have been epic.

Swagger must have seriously pissed someone off to get buried like he is. I like Clay and his gimmick, hate the way they jobbing him to the Big Slow.

Del Rio has one of the lamest gimmicks ever in his coming out each week in a different luxury car that he obviously does not own. They just rent the car from a dealer in whatever town the show is in. Alberto looks scared shitless driving the cars out hoping he don't ding something with the car and lose the security deposit on the rental. |

Buggy Nova is interesting, but I'd have preferred Christina Von Eerie if they wanted a female wrestler with an alternative look. TNA really should have kept Eerie.
I was excited by the Sid match. Laugh all you want, but I was a huge mark for Sid in the mid 90s. All the guy had to do was come to the ring, do his little crazy laugh, and fans would go apeshit. I liked that pre-Attitude era where the WWE was first starting to become edgy. Speaking of that, it made me think of Los Buricuas and a comment that Konnan made. I listen to Konnan's podcast every week and he brought up the point that Vince really doesn't know how to deal with Hispanic people. He brought up the marketing of Mexican or Mexican American stars. He tries to build them as Hispanic or Latino stars as an umbrella, yet that doesn't work. He also just doesn't understand different types of Hispanic people. Los Buricuas looked more like Cholos. They added the suffix ito to Carly to make it sound "Spanish". They also gave Eddy and Tito the "Spanish" sounding names Primo (meaning cousin, yet is Carlito's brother) and Epico. Then there's a Pacific Islander (Camacho) with a Cholo gimmick. I guess it could be worse; we still could be in a wrestling world where Italians are Native Americans.
