Yup, some camps open Monday, and there are still a bunch of big name free agents yet to sign...

The Toronto Blue Jays finally had the season opener at home in Toronto after playing for two years in the US because of covid and it was a successful homecoming as the Blue Jays defeated the Rangers 10-8. Things didn't look so good after the first when the Rangers scored four runs but Toronto picked it up scoring three in the fourth and four in the fifth... the Jays backed that up with a 4-3 win yesterday. The three-game series concludes today.
I wish all teams good health and much success as they welcome back the fans in the stands to cheer them on |

why is overtime listed as "F" on score sheets?
overtime...extra innings...sudden death...tiebreaker... i can't think of ANYTHING that starts with "F"!! only thing i could guess, maybe, is "Final", but why would it only apply to OT scores? every game has a "final" score! |

In baseball? I've never seen that on a scoresheet. Do you have a picture as an example?

Got it! That is to designate that the game went final in 10 innings, as opposed to a normal 9 inning game. Same designation if the game is cut short by rain, it would read F/6.
