A lot of the guys are family guys, do they like all the travel...hell no but they do it because it's as much a part of the job as taking a bump is. And losing one match doesn't make a losing streak. Fact is, that for as strong and bad ass as Lesnar seems to think he is, a ring general like HHH could make him look like a total joke and destroy and credibility Lesnar may have, much like William Regal did against Goldberg in the one match they had in WCW. Regal was pissed that they were gonna feed him to Goldberg as just another "streak" opponent, so Regal no selled everything Bill threw at him and stiff shotted him every chance he had. It was an awesome match just for the fact that it showed just how "bad ass" these big muscled up guys are when they get in the ring with the guys who are real veterans and ring generals. Guys who do more than slam, punch, repeat...hahahaha

It will be interesting to see how this one plays out. Do you think Brock actually broke Triple H's arm? I'm not too sure. People say its fake, then it probably is. I'm just a Brock fan, and I do like Triple H too. But Triple H always pushes his weight around, and I remember when he was in a triple threat match against Brock and the Rock. HHH didn't look weak at all. He's a big guy, a real veteran. But Brock didn't get pinned. It's just interesting to see how it plays out like I said. How Brock plays it that is. Cos he's gets mad easily, a wrecking machine. Plus, he still has that MMA mindset, he could be thinking of that guy that beat him for the title when he's facing HHH that would be cool.

Backstage News On Lesnar Vs Triple H Plans
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting the creative plans for Brock Lesnar vs Triple H are being kept very secretive. Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, John Laurinaitis, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman and a few others are aware of the plans but nobody else. The WWE creative writing team hasn't even been informed on the specific direction of the angle. Those high ranking WWE officials are claiming Triple H vs Brock Lesnar will NOT happen at SummerSlam but reportedly sources still say the match will take place in August.

Brock only lost one match. Not only that, did they really talk about him losing? No, they highlighted him beating down John Cena. If you didn't watch the PPV, and heard only commentary on RAW, you'd think Lesnar actually won. Even his promo to start last week said he brought the pain to Cena. That's it, he didn't explicitly said he won, or lost. I find it hard to believe that HHH will go over Lesnar. Maybe if HHH was an active performer, then it's realistic. In his state? Hell no, as it's more of a work of putting Brock over, rather than HHH.
WWE's website posted an awesome look back at the Bryan vs. Punk rivalry. They even alluded to ROH (not by name of course). Quote:

Lots of times in the past they would plan a match to be at house shows leading up to the PPV so they get a chance to work together and get a feel for each other. Of course those house shows usually end in a DQ or doube DQ of some kind. Not sure if that will apply with one guy on suspention/quit/fired.

Lesnar won't do a house show. HHH did a house show in MSG before this year's Wrestlemania, to shake off ring rust. So Hunter is more likely to do one. I think it would be hilarious to see Hunter go into business for himself and humiliate Brock with his vast knowledge of storytelling and psychology. However, if anything, Hunter's experience would mask Lesnar's ring rust. Unless Lesnar sharpens up by SummerSlam. A stipulation idea that would guarantee Lesnar winning: he wins, he gets a WWE title match any time and any place. That sets him and CM Punk up.

I like it.
Just the thought of them having a big build up and then it is a house show match. something wrong with that picture. I was thinking no summerslam match. Special match in Memphis . Triple H beats Brock and he and Lawler lay Brock out with piledrivers and a pedigree after it . And who said Brock isn't a team player ? |
