I thought the idea was to post better quality versions of what has been posted or keeping links up. Decimating bitrates is never a picture quality improvement nor are upscales without increasing bitrates by at least the same percentage. On that note it's also a bit pointless upscaling anything with bad picture quality/colour/dirt/scratches if there's no attempt to restore it to some degree. Seeing a lot of junk being posted by a handful of posters that are worse than what's already been available.
Seems to be a huge step backwards in my opinion just for the sake of posting something.. |
