Using firefox+noscript addon? Allow oron.com (and don't close that tab) or you could be waiting forever. Yes slimey tactics.

Actually, for some unknown reason, for me, restarting my router does not work reseting the time in ORON. In fact, I just tried it now (logged out and browser restart before doing it) and the timer increased from 2 hours something to over 3 hours. Did not clear cookies, though.
Until yesterday it was only about 1 hour and about 20 minutes between downloads, I hope this 4 hours is not there new policy.
ORON really doesn't seem to be a good hoster for free downloaders (and thats the ideea, to make you buy premium) but it gives me better upload speeds than Hotfile and Megaupload.

Oron is at least a bit better than ul.to in smaller files. download a 6mb file boink 1.1 hour wait. oron? maybe 1-2 minutes

I suspect if you are a UK user, (and are possibly with sTalk Stalk or Opal) you may have found out your ISP is badly implementing the IWF block list.

Also affects Filesonic in the same way

This is where a single URL is blocked on the site as recommended by the IWF, the ISP then puts all traffic to that site through a proxy, so it all appears to come from one IP address. The affect is all users of the ISP are fighting for the same free download quota

I just got this message recently. I'm not sure whether it's an IWF issue or not: at least there is a work-round for the Filesonic problem. If this is just a blanket 5GB limit for free users they should be banned as a host - it's a shame they are a site sponsor!
I wonder if people who have lots of files uploaded to Oron will see downloads begin to fall, or whether there will be enough new porn downloaders to fill the gap.

Yeh I agree mate, it's got to the point now that I log in here and check the threads to the models I like and if its Oron or Filesonic I use other established forums who have now sensibly banned those hosts outright to download the content I want!

I'm on Virgin 10mb in the UK - having the same problem. I already have FS and HF premium accounts so...

I'm guessing this is a transparent proxy/IWF problem on Virgin's end.

Yes, there is a maximum to Oron's allowable download limit and it appears to be varied for different accounts. I once received a message that my account had a DL limit of 15GB/24hr. (Apparently their intention is for me to create multiple accounts in order to get "unlimited" access. which is Bullshit.) I just deal with my OronicMORONIC limits.
I haven't taken an exact measurement but I'm fairly sure I can only get around 12 or so actual GB a day now in downloading.
BTW, I WOULD LIKE SOMEONE'S OPINION ON MY QUESTION:
Is it just me or do ORON links appear to last longer than any other HOST?

oron does not serve the uk network will to download a file from it server i have to take charge of vpn, but it is faster when you catch it compare to others
