I wish the Simpsons would release a box set of every Treehouse of Horror episode.

Well having seen Manhunter a year or so after it was released it was and still is one of my top favorite movies. With brilliant acting, trippy cinematography and great soundtrack. Red Dragon is a shot for shot remake that has a completely different ending. I did not care for it as much as the 1986 film but you might, like all things in entertainment it is subjective. Also... And CHEERS! |

Happy Halloween Everyone
I'll be eating all the candy I bought for the kids who won't be trick or treating. I'll also be listening to Mercyful Fate and King Diamond all day, and so will my neighbors. |

Happy Halloween 2020 Planetsuzy!
I hope all of you are having a fun and festive holiday and celebrating in ways that are safe and healthy. For me the Halloweenfest has been going on since Thursday, the candy is delicious, the Chinese was scrumptious and the pizza and Parmesan breadsticks was great! Movie wise I'm watching the classic pictures today such as the original black and white Dracula and Frankenstein.

Now that's it's a safe distance away I have to say that I don't get and have never understood the appeal of Halloween. Wasn't a tradition when I was growing up in god's own country (Cymru) and I struggled to support my barely-teen step-daughter's ardent desire to schlep dark streets with her girlfriends knocking on doors. We, mum and I, acceded on the condition we shadowed them from a safe distance (much to their initial embarrassment and protests). But they welcomed it after several creepy encounters with householders and over-age T&Ters. All this occurred in a particularly horrible English town up North and I have long since moved. Still not lost my distaste for it or the town. Bigot, eh?
