Oh, that's an easy one.
I just can't stand the Five Knuckle Shuffle. With all the punches these guys take, it's a little ridiculous for a flying punch on a guy who's lying down to be a finisher. |

I already listed mine previously in the Stone Cold Stunner. Stone Cold Steve Austin turns around and grabs a guys head and sits down pulling the guys head down and knocking the guy out. The hold itself is a weak ass finish and quite often the guy being stunned botches the move and yet still lays there after being pinned like he got whacked in the head with a sledgehammer.
In this video 2 of the stunners were botched and they still laid there like a dead fish! |

For the best finisher it's a toss up between Triple H's Pedigree and Lesnar's F-5- they both look like they hurt and imo, getting dropped on your face hurts.
Worst? Mankind's "Mandible Claw"... something about the guy your wrestling shoving his fingers down your throat bugs me and just looks silly too- also, Santino's "Cobra".../facepalm |

I think Kevin Steen does better Stunners, and it's not his finisher.
The Worm is the worst finisher. Rock's People's Elbow has less time for setup than this! I can see why people are drawn to those never-endingly set-up moves, because a guy's character or charisma can hold fans for a good amount of time. Orton's character is loved by fans, that he can set up his RKO for as long as he wants. However, that's to more casual fans. For me, it's freaking ridiculous that a move like The Worm is a legit finisher. It's fun to do, but shouldn't be a finisher, like Rock's Elbow, which wasn't always a finisher in its own right. If it wasn't for The Worm, I might suggest stuff like The Cobra, the Khali Chop, the Spear done as a finisher by guys not named Edge, Rhyno, Christian, or Goldberg. |

The worm is pretty bad, but it was fun to watch- not believable as a finisher but fun to watch. Orton's RKO is better when it's out of nowhere and your not expecting it- if he has time to set up for it then it doesn't have the same flow.

Speaking of which, I love rapid-fire German suplexes, but you don't see that kind of thing much anymore with Guerrero and Benoit gone. I've seen it a few times in recent New Japan Pro-Wrestling events, though, which is cool. |

this is a bit off topic but I really wish someone could do the JAX multislam move in pro-wrestling...that would be cool

The worm was terrible because it was a long set up, so was HBK's "sweet chin music. I do not like moves that the crowd kind of tells the opponent to "duck." HBK gave away his move with that foot stomping. I liked when Gino Hernandez had that move in Texas wrestling because the "Super-kick" was always unexpected. The RKO has the same, quick unexpected appearance.

I've always hated the Tuning the Band or whatever it was called. Does anyone know why he started doing it? I assume he was a loaded boot gimmick. I do remember that they gave it's name when he became a face in the mid 90s. I would say the Spear done by Edge or Christian is the worst finisher. I'm fine with the Gore due it's selling. I'd be fine if Goldberg used his as a finisher instead of a setup move due to the way it's selling. I'm even fine with Batista's half-assed versions due his size. I can't realistically see something that's done with the impact of a double leg takedown as a realistic finisher. Edge has had a lot of great moves in the past, it was a shame that while he was at the top he used one of the most underwhelming finishers. |
