Am I the only person bored by Jericho?
I'll be glad when they finally quit teasing Punk/Ace. Ace doesn't look he's in that much worse shape than when he was wrestling. He should also still be able to go as he's only in his mid 40s and never really had any serious injuries. |

I can't speak for everyone, but I am not bored with Jericho in the slightest. Every week since returning, he has done something a little bit different every week and this week, after 3 weeks of saying nothing...he finally spoke and the one sentence he did speak will sell more PPV's than any other long winded speech from anyone else in the company. And I officially name Chris Jericho as my prediction to win the Rumble match itself.
The thing with Laurinitis is that yeah, for a guy his age he does look like he's in fairly good shape, for a suit. Johnny Ace hasn't wrestled in years and when he did, even compared to guys of his "era", he wasn't that great. He is doing better as a personality on Raw but I will say, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if he gets fired as the Interm GM of Raw. I still want to see ole Commish Foley be reinstated!...hahaha |

it might be the world championship that goes to a babyface at wrestlemania. Orton beating Mark Henry . Henry ''owes'' Orton so maybe Orton will get it back then at wrestlemania . Where that leaves Bryan ? |

I think it'll be Orton beating Bryan for the title @ Mania. It seems like they're (already) thinking of turning Henry into a face, so I don't think it'll be Orton/Henry at the show. Part of me thinks that Bryan's not a big enough star to go into Mania as champ, but I think that HHH/Taker, Punk/Jericho*, and - most of all - Rock/Cena will be the real main events, so they can get away with a less famous guy in the Smackdown title match. (Add Big Show/Shaq to that list if that match actually happens.)
*Jericho is my pick for the Rumble win as well. Ziggler will either be in a match with Foley (to give Ziggler the rub, the same way that Foley did with HHH, Edge & Orton) or will be in the MITB ladder match (and likely win that.) Add me to the list of people that love Johnny Ace in his current role - I never thought that I'd like him as much as I do. He's so awesome in that current role, I hope he stays as Raw GM for a long time now. |

some thoughts that Robe Johnny Ace had on . aww man it was great. I'll miss him if he leaves. burtog's idea about Dolph winning the title at the royal rumble and then losing it again at the elimination chamber does sound pretty good. Johnny to do the evil deed before getting fired next Monday ? we shall see. Zack Ryder saying stay out of this bro to Cena . I would have been straight in there. Then I realized that he wasn't talking about Eve Torres. Zack may have suffered a broken back ha ha. Could Lawler have been any more unconvincing ? I'm with Colin . I loved the Jericho segment and agree 100 % about his line on selling the Royal Rumble. some nice video packages about the Royal Rumble . one thing WWE always does well , those video's . Miz to win the Royal Rumble, I'd put money on it now with him being number one . ha ha just kidding. As soon as Jericho returned he was my pick. Orton , well I guess he could do the thing that has been done before. he throws Barrett out and then goes out after him and eliminates himself. It doesn't sound very smart but that is the best I can come up . Good to see Dolph standing tall at the end of Raw. Not the best crowd again but he was getting some nice heat . Quote:
I knew you would come round I'm all over the place right now . They don't do money in the bank at wrestlemania any more since they have it as a separate pay per view. Dolph vs Foley sounds good though. Perhaps Foley can shed a few lbs . what that man has done to his body over the years. |

I hope Johnny Ace does not lose his job. He gets heel hate big time. Who else in the company gets hate like him? No one... Not since Vince was out in front running the show has the WWE had such a good heel we all love to hate. Would be a shame to have him lose his job only a few months after becomming a force in the company. If he does lose the job they should make him a manager for some new guy.
I too think Jericho is in the position to win the rumble. It would be the biggest bang for the buck for him to win and enter the title hunt. If not Jericho then Shamus. Give Ziggler the strap and let Shamus win it at WM. Or give Ziggler the belt and let Jericho win it at WM. I don't think the WWE has ever had 2 heels in such a high profile main event. Would be something different. |

I had Orton, shemus or Jericho winning the rumble i'm leaning to Orton since it in his hometown and it could possible take D.Bryan heel heat to the next level since Orton the second big face of the WWE and it will get fans watch it since WM is already starstuded I see Shemus Vs Barret at WM but I think Shemus will break Kane record of most eliminations. and for Jericho I think he going to eliminate himself just to piss off the fans but I think he still going to do something big and still be in the WWE title match at WM I could be wrong but that the beauty of being a fan.
As for John L. I think Triple H is going to deliver the news that he's the permanent GM for Raw but, I would be suprised if later down the line Mick Foley take his spot. |

There's a reason why they haven't done a heel v heel feud going into Mania in the past...it's because it would fall flat. The only reason a face v face match like Warrior and Hogan worked was because they were the two biggest faces in the company at the time...much like Cena and Rock now. As big a fan as I am of both Jericho and Ziggler...I wouldn't want to see them feuding over the title, trying to outheel each other. One of them would become the de facto face. And on the topic of Ziggler...I don't want to see him win the title Sunday. I would much rather see him go on to Mania and win the MITB match...since it is coming back to strictly Mania this year and they are doing away with the MITB PPV. Either way, after The Rumble if he doesn't win the WWE Championship match or The Rumble match, they have to keep his main event push going...the future is so very bright for him.

And because I still think they're planning on HHH/Taker at Mania, I wouldn't be surprised if HHH's return on Monday includes at least a partial heel-turn. Michaels had to resort to trickery to get Taker to agree to a Mania rematch a few years ago, and I could see HHH doing the same. Them going into the show as a strict face/face match-up (like last year) wouldn't make sense to me. |

I can't see a HHH/Taker WM match. Last year HHH did the job for Taker. To have a rematch and HHH do the job again so Taker can retire undefeated at WM? HHHs ego is pretty big so I would think he would ONLY do the rematch if he gets the win.
