Can we make a rule about mirror site for KS while we argue if KS should get banned or not? Seriously almost every file I d/l using KS is 5 to 6hr long. It really help if uploader who using KS provide a second source of link.

Staff is considering requiring mirrors with K2S links, same as we did for Rapidgator and Uploaded.

Just delete this rule about mirror to RG and UL links and uploaders again start using all this host. After when you added this rule most of uploaders start posting with K2S links and now you see this effect. Of course you can always add next host to this list but what next? Uploaders just change filehost and after month or two we will see the same situation with different host. It's not solution.

Just my opinion.

Very many RG and UL links continue to be posted here. RG and UL performance improved for free downloaders after we began requiring mirror links, most likely because traffic shifted away from those hosts. We expect the same will happen with Keep2Share. Yes, it is possible that we will have to continue adding file hosts to the Required Mirror List if mass posters continue adopting the same file hosts and those hosts can't handle the traffic.

I understand the frustration with slow download speeds but you all forgetting that its content you get for FREE.

With each file host this discussion will continue.
Oron, Filesonic, Uploaded, Rapidshare, K2S, etc... They all have or had a free download speed that sucks. Specialy when the links are big (>400Mb)

The problem can aslo come from your provider. When you provider does a little maintenance of a split second while you are downloading your download will stop.

Other problem is the growing of the clips/movies. A few years back movies were max. 700Mb and 10 min. clips around 100Mb.
Nowadays a lot of movies are 2Gb or even bigger. Even simple 20 min. clips are almost 1Gb.

Maybe a solution will be splitting those ridiculous big files in smaller parts, lets say max. 500Mb and for each link a different file host.

Example :
a 1Gb movie/clip splitted in 3 parts.
- file 1, 333Mb Rapidgator link.
- file 2, 333Mb Uploaded link.
- file 3, 334Mb Depositfile link.

This way a free user can download from 3 file hosts at the same time and it will reduce the download time with 66% (9h downloading from 1 file host will be 3h download from 3 different file hosts).

The thing is for me, I have a rapidgator premium account, but you can't get the premium account for all of them.
About the past month, I can't get Keep 2 share to work AT ALL! as free/slow download.
I enter the code, and it says wait 30 seconds, but the 30 second animation just spins and spins and spins and spins.
Says Please wait or up grade.
Anyone else get this?
Is it something on my end, like bad cookie or something?
I see no way for free user to contact support either.
