All toy. No talent.

People need to realize what and how talent is a tangible element here. The camera is just a tool. Without the vision/ talent- the work lacks that magic.

You can give me the most expensive cookware and I wouldn't be a gourmet chef.

I can shoot a basketball a billion times and I'd never make it in the NBA.

Give me canvas and paint- and I won't be a Rembrandt.

And having access to some of these high end, pricy tools does not translate into good outcomes.

A lot of modern "togs" seem to forget that windows and mirrors have reflections, and inevitably they will end up taking photos with themselves in the shot. There's nothing less glamorous than a babe posing in front of an apartment window at night, with the reflection of some fat bloke and a massive camera flash just over her shoulder.
Just as amateur looking is when they take a shot of a girl lying on the floor and you can see the photographer's grubby training shoes in the edge of the shot.

That's because it's the only large mirror they have access to and they feel as though they have to "capture the moment".

Real models have legit talented photographers that can create a moment as opposed to fearing losing it somehow. I just don't see the appeal of a selfie as an erotic photograph.

It seems to me that ownership could also play a part in the "selfie" craze. When a Photographer takes pictures, they own the negatives. Selfies allow amateurs to have that ownership at the cost of quality. Easy to share as well, so there is the convenience factor.

I have traveled and taken "selfies" but mine involve a tripod and I set my camera manually. Then I use a remote control to take the shot. Much more involved than a general selfie and none of it involves holding the camera while making a duckface

As a "collector" I wish that porn sites would take more time to shoot their pictures. It looks like that most porn sites don't care about the quality of their pictures. And maybe those sites don't want to waste to much time on the photo shoot. I hope that this will change eventually.

The advantage of a huge photo set (300 - 1000 pictures) is, that you chose the best pictures from this set. The disadvantage is that it takes a lot time to select the pictures that you want to keep.

Some of you have been mentioning some sites who did took or take good pictures. Now I would like to know, what the best sites are for Glamour pictures and Hardcore pictures ?

W4B and Photodromm are good for Glamour type pictures.

Met Art etc annoy me because they focus too much on being artistic nudes than sexy nudes, but sometimes they coincide.
