I don't think Jim Ross cares. He most likely expected to be fired after it happening so many times in the past. for it to be in his home town was their perfect opportunity.
I can deal with Michael Cole, I have to accept him for what he is trying to be. Lawler needs to go because he adds nothing . Bring Josh Matthews back, he is much better than Lawler. Booker talks complete shite every time he is out there but it is funny listening to him get excited , in some strange way . Ross didn't really stand out since he returned anyway . once or twice he shined but most of the time it is Cole not letting anybody get a word in . Ross was just along for the ride. |

Are you starting a "What" chant in the forum? I like that phrase better than the others. I can tolerate it because I always use it and Nobody knows from where I got it. I just laugh at their confusions.

So it is John Cena vs ADR in last man standing match at Vengeance.
I wont be shocked if Cena wins the title again. The wwe title gets passed around like some whore in a gangbang . My gut is telling me ADR will win though. I just get this feeling that somebody could interfere and cost Cena. we shall see. Raw was pretty good last night . Of course it had to be better after last week. |

I would like to see Del Rio retain the title at Vengeance, but seeing as it's a Last Man Standing match now, I don't know if that'll happen. I'm not impressed with this switching the title off every month that the company seems to be doing lately, if anything to get Cena's title reign number up but what can I do about it? Nothing, that's what. I myself found the main event of Cena/Ross v Del Rio/Cole to be kind of boring myself...in fact I fell asleep during it. I did enjoy the 6 man tag last night though and I loved the finish of Henry throwing Morrison up in the air Gorilla press slam style, catching him and into the World:s Strongest Slam. Great strength move by Henry. If he loses the title to Big Show at the PPV, I will sorely be disappointed. Henry's having his best run in WWE right now and he deserves this time in the spotlight.
I like the developing feud between Rhodes and Orton and am glad that there match at Vengeance isn't for the Intercontinental Championship. Rhodes is the perfect IC Champion and it would be a shame to see Orton beat him for it just because he's Randy Orton and he HAS to have some sort of gold around his waist. Then this brings me to the combination of Ziggler and Swagger. I've been a big fan of both of theirs for a "long time" now and having them together, working as a unit is even better. I like the fact that they are going after Air Boom and the Tag Team Championships and would like to see them pick up the win on Sunday. Ziggler needs double gold!...hahaha Last but certainly not least...CM Punk, HHH, Miz and R Truth. I like where this is going. I see Punk and HHH going over at Vengeance for sure, but I like how Miz and Truth are being portrayed as the bitter employees back for...well...Vengeance...haha. Miz and Punk's match was a little lackluster at times thanks to all the interference with Johnny Ace and his Mexican buddies, but I loved seeing Punk throwing the big Macho Man elbow into his repertoire and showing the Mexican wrestling fans some respect and throwing in some Lucha Libre moves for them. Unbelievable how over Punk is in Mexico...I'd almost say more so than Cena. |

I have read smackdown spoilers and it appears that the tag team title match will not be happening at vengeance. I think they are playing up some injury with Evan Bourne. Instead Dolph Ziggler will be defending his US title against Zack Ryder.
the spoilers I read for Raw were a bit off the mark so it could be wrong again . I like Cody Rhodes but like I have said before, the gimmick brings him down . Let him be Cody Rhodes instead of some B movie villain. I doubt that Henry will lose the title to Big Show, I really hope he doesn't anyway. |

Cody Rhodes is one of those guys that needs a gimmick right now. He's still a young guy and learning...he needs the gimmick because if you look at when he was in Legacy as just Cody Rhodes...boring as shit. And in fact when you look at him and Dibiase, Rhodes has the gimmick and Dibiase is just Ted Dibiase...who is the Intercontiental Champion? Yeah, exactly.

I understand but at least give him a decent gimmick. I would say that this current gimmick is ''boring as shit '' I'm sure you heard him trying to get a reaction at hell in a cell? he was practically begging the crowd for a reaction and got none, and why ? because his stupid B movie villain gimmick sucks. At least the dashing gimmick was fun . He just reminds me of something from the 80's now

Reason: hell in a cell, not night of champions.

I love his current gimmick, personally. I was a big fan of his Dashing gimmick as well...his grooming tips were hilarious, but that is the evolution of his character. The natural progression. Like how he has been able to take one gimmick, completely turn it in a 180 and still get even more over with it. Albeit, I liked it alot more when he was still trying to hide his "brutally, disfigured" face and yeah, his evil laugh could use some work but at least he's trying. there's lots of guys on the roster who WISH they were half as over as Rhodes...and his bit with the paper bags? Great throw back kinda stuff to the 80's when everything was fresh and original and different. The reaction that he got, or the lack of reaction, at one show doesn't mean that his gimmick is the drizzling shits.
Eagle eagle, if you could create a gimmick for Rhodes that is better than his current gimmick...what would it be then? |
