Porky, I am not trying to pick a fight, but I just tried again to d/l 2 files (parts 1 & 2 of one of the books) and again, the same outcome: each d/l zipped along to around 60% and then each one stopped downloading. Just to be sure, I left them open for 15 minutes and neither one downloaded a Kb. This is the same outcome I have had with each one of these. They don't work for me. Anyone else have a problem?

just downloaded Blue Glamour Part 1. a lot of nonsense to get to the actual download link, but zero problem with the download itself. (using firefox, if that matters)

Thanks, Scrub. I bet using Firefox does matter. I use IE. Maybe I should get off my lazy arse and switch browsers as I rarely hear Firefox users having this kiind of d/l trouble.

the good news is, if you like IE, you don't have to give it up. If/when you install firefox, at the point where it asks you "Do you want to make firefox your default browser" just click no. IE will remain the default, you can open up FF to try and get those 'troublesome' downloads.
