Again, my call for passion rears its ugly head again. Uninspired performances can be so fucking obvious it just saps the erotic energy out of a scene. It's also regardless of how physically attractive the performers are too.

Zickoo, I think we have similar problems. One point that you made is about how directors treat it as a job, with little passion put into it. I think there are some directors that care about the action but they are few and far between, especially nowadays.

The fact that we live in a world where everyone has a camera capable of recording high quality video on their phone means the floodgates are open. While I enjoy a bit of amateur action, the availability of cheap recording equipment makes it very easy for those who are in it simply to make money, so we end up with a lot of crap porn.

There are also a couple of things that come to mind related to my rant about tagging. Minimally tagged porn can be frustrating too. I also think that there are times where the English language lacks a succinct word to describe something, an example of this being a particular look. We tend to say "looks a bit like". We use abbreviations to describe particular action but not others. Maybe we need some more.

Marem19 and thruster315. If the action isn't hot I don't watch regardless of how hot the performer/s (I've actually developed the ability to gauge how hot I think a scene will be based on the little preview slideshow. Most of the time I'm right). It also gives me an idea for another thread. Women that you consider not good looking that turn you on, or on the flip-side women you consider good looking that just don't do it for you.

Yeah you can really get a feel from the previews if a scene is going to be. However there have been a few hot trailers that have just been bad scenes.
