yes. If the k2s link doesn't come from PSuzy or if you don't remember in which thread you find it, just open a Private Message Window, put your name in the recipients field and fill the title field, then paste your link in the message box and click on "preview message".
Then, when your message is previewed, click on the k2s link and the referrer will be the forum

Have to correct myself as the problem was a bit different than I thought. The resuming function doesn't work at the moment and I have no idea when or if it will work again. The company who owns K2S, Fileboom and Tezfiles apparently fixed that loophole which let free users download above 150 kb/s.

This is quite a bummer, I can live with the 30 kb/s but not being able to resume a download is really pain in the ass.

I get 150-200 kB/s atm, but larger files stop plenty of times, sucks.
And Tezfiles went from a good file host for JDownloader to unusable, 50 kB/s and no resumes anymore? Bye.

Hmmm I wonder if they'll bring back the resume function but if they don't then these three hosters are pretty much useless for files with 1.5gb + files for free users.

Maybe it's a bit too early but looking at the rules of "Allowed File Hosts" in the PATM sections, wouldn't it be time now to reconsider updating it? The max size 5120 mb of individual links is huge and impossible to download without having a subscription plus I see many posts that have these two hosters (see threadtitle) as the only the only download source (in their posts), it would be better to change one hoster for another that's a different as both are practically the same.

I've never used JDownloader so never had the resume function but I download 1.5 - 2GB files almost every day from these two hosts with very few incompletions.

There's no reason at all IMO to review the "Required File Hosts" (not "Allowed File Hosts" which is relative to the whole site) in PATM as I'm sure there are many like myself who don't have a problem. If there weren't I'm sure there would be many more complaints in this thread.

I've never tried to download a 5GB file but wouldn't regard it as impossible. I'd guess it would take about 12 hours which I'm confident my ISP wouldn't cause a problem with.

So long as they're not posting in PATM, it's entirely the uploader's choice as to which file host(s) they use - subject only to it being on the "Allowed File Hosts" list. In PATM they must use a "Required" file host and they can add any number of mirrors of their choice from the "Allowed" list.

Dang, k2s is wanting four hours for a 407 mb download. The good news is in a couple of hours I can start a second download without an "overlap" message.

fb and k2s used to average 30kb/s a year ago then got better to the point of 140 to 300kb/s. i don't mind 30kb/s as long as it's resumeable. currently it's not. so far mega, zippy, and deposit are the go to hosts for me

Lucky you. I haven't been able to get a single link to complete in over 2 days. I really need for them to bring back the resume.
