I doubt the file hosts payment processors knows it's a gift card.

The gift cards that have VISA or MC or AMEX logo on them still have the same set up:

16 digit number, expiration date, security code in the back.

Activate it, register your name and other info, link it to your PayPal as you would link a debit card or credit card to your PayPal and use PayPal to buy the filehost service.

Then once it goes through, remove the gift card from your PayPal account as your payment source.

The thing is they don't, a lot of them don't allow you to spend outside the territory you live in.
