I don't mind either of them, I get good speed from both. Rapidgator is alright in a pinch and deposit is my favorite. Bigfile is good too but the wait between downloads is ridiculous. Same with Uploaded. 3 hours is crazy. But it costs me exactly $0 so I can't complain too much.

I use Zippy to upload all of my files.
I find its upload speed o be very good, but then again I have not used many others.
I think the main reason more people don't use them is that they have that file size limit of 200meg.

I think a lot of us free downloaders would quit complaining if, similar to how planetsuzy links gets 150kbps from fboom/k2s, planetsuzy users also had a reduced waiting time between starting new downloads (say 20-30 minutes instead of 60).

After the loss a few years ago of several large file hosts, we should count ourselves VERY lucky that there are so many file hosts that allow us to download for free?

(and that most of them no longer use those unreadable captchas)

Zippy is cool. I know the limit is 200 Mb but the download speed is ok and there is no waiting time, neither before the download nor between two downloads. Dfiles is my favourite because sometimes there is no waiting time before downloads or just a few minutes depending on the file size and daytime. And I don't think that it is too bad for uploaders as well. Sometimes I see links here from 2008 or sth and they are still working in 2016. I don't know any other host that does that. I think k2s is very quick when it comes to deleting files or am I wrong?

robbierabbit thats right. The most annoying thing is the waiting time. No matter how small the file is, you have to wait one hour for the next download.

k2s has a lifetime premium download option. It's not that the other storages are too expensive, it's a lot of trouble to purchase a premium account. In my area you cannot use prepaid cards or services like paypal. Regular credit cards will usually contact you for further authorization which either gets the transaction cancelled or can result in a reduction of your credit limit. After going through such a headache I wouldn't want to repeat it in 3 or 6 months, and I definitely would not want a repetitive charge that could require cancelling the card to get it to stop. If more of the options were able to cut the hassle of a premium account I would have more premium accounts.

The reason I use FB is I can upload up to 2 GB size files for free users and they allow over 800 GB's of free space. Filejoker only allows 50 GB's in todays world that's not much space. I also upload to deposit files but most porn star videos have already been uploaded there so I end up having to delete them.

You don't upload much.

You get 10 Tb storage on FJ and 3.7 TB on FB (i have ~ 3.2 TB on both), all you have to do is ask.
