Candi Staton - Nights on Broadway
I like the Bee Gee's original, but I prefer Candi's version. Can't really say it's better, because it comes down to preference, and what is better to one person may not be to someone else. I wouldn't say that this is better than the original (I like both versions. The original one, though, has a very special place in my heart.....same for "Hurt", which was later covered by the great Johnny Cash), but still.
It's a very great cover.........an example of how a good cover should be done. Flyleaf - Something I Can Never Have (NIN cover)

Both the original and cover is good enough for me, I am leaning towards acoustic lately.
