So many positives I saw with Takeover 31. Let's see Priest really stepped up his game vs Gargano defending his NA Championship. He's learning on the job being a Champion and he had a heck of a bout with one of most consistent workers in NXT and he belonged out there. I don't know realistically how much longer do you need Gargano on NXT, but if he keeps doing well out there with talent you might as well keep him there. Kushida taking Dream to school out there was a pleasure to watch and with that win Kushida is moving up in the World and Dream can be written off if you want him to and come back around Rumble time and see what the landscape looks like. No texting for you DREAM!
Escobar vs Swerve Scott was pretty good and I enjoyed the finish with Swerve hitting his head on the Turnbuckle giving the CW Champion just enough time to sneak out a win. I wonder if theirs a rematch in the works, but it seems like Ashante might get a chance as if he's done a damn thing to even deserve a spot like that right now. Shirai vs LaRae was a different Match vs their previous ones, but that doesn't mean it wasn't good for me. I wanna talk about more of Toni Storm and Ember Moon joining the Division. I love both ladies so seeing them coming back is great for both ladies. Io is on a tear right now and I can see Toni losing to Io getting even for the MYC loss to her, but Moon I see taking the title off of Io. I mean why do all this return just to have her there and do nothing for her come on I doubt. Balor was reenergized since coming back to NXT, and WWE thinks Moon will have the same thing happen to her. Balor vs Kyle O’Reilly I say is an acquired taste for some people, but I love every moment of it. Both guys were broken into pieces after that war and Balor continues to do his thing and Kyle looked great in this big moment. I wouldn't be shocked to see a break up down the road, but with Ridge trying to put UE Members on IR that might be pushed back for a few months. |

My simple, yet cynical, answer is where they film. Most TV shows are in either California or Canada who have rather strong measures in place to try and stop the spread. Compared to Florida and Georgia, where WWE and AEW have been since March, there are relatively lax measures in place.
As for testing, I don't know costs but it ain't free, that's for sure. Whereas WWE and AEW have cost savings from not traveling that could be reallocated for testing/safety. It's a totally new expense for a normal TV show. And considering GLOW started on Netflix, there's no potential windfall of streaming rights to be had and help defray those costs. |

Former WWE champ Alberto Del Rio indicted on kidnapping and sexual assault charges
Chris Cwik yahoo.com October 9, 2020 Former WWE champ Alberto Del Rio was indicted on kidnapping and sexual assault charges Friday, according to News 4 San Antonio. Del Rio — whose real name is Jose Rodriguez Chucuan — was indicted by a grand jury on one count of kidnapping and four counts of sexual assault. He was arrested in May after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman. Del Rio was released on bond following the arrest. Del Rio is accused of sexual assault as well as threatening the victim. He allegedly told the victim he would take her son and “drop him in the middle of the road somewhere.” Alberto Del Rio won World Heavyweight title in 2013 Del Rio joined WWE in 2009 and worked his way up the ranks, eventually becoming the first Mexican-born WWE champion. Del Rio briefly left the company in 2014, but returned in 2015. Del Rio left WWE again in 2016 and joined Impact Wrestling until 2018. |

Thoughts of round 1 of the draft? Arguably the best move was Seth Rollins to smackdown.
I feel AJ styles didn't get much time to shine on his return to Smackdown and his only move to Raw is because of his beef with heyman. The split of the New Day might be a good 1 to allow Big E to become a powerhouse. The issue with the Smackdown tag titles going to Raw is that i guess Shinsuke and Cesaro or another tag team will face them to bring the titles back to Smackdown. I feel due to Bianca Belair going, it means the street prophets would go with or without the Raw tag titles. |

They move them but also make sure to keep the feuds on same brand to keep the story lines going from what I briefly read. What kind of fake draft is that. Until they make an actual top star and not these posers then I still won't give a crap. Better wrestler this and that is fucking boring. The shitty comedy, the petty oh and ah jabs, had enough of all of it. Rumble is worth seeing for brief excitement it never seems to fail to bring and Mania for the perceived grand scale of it and that's all they got left. Vince is struggling to puff fumes out that rotten head.

But when "creative" makes boneheaded moves, like making Mustafa Ali (who was very briefly pushed by VKM earlier this year, but has missed much of the last two years due to injuries, as well as "creative" having nothing for him) the leader of Retribution, no amount of personnel shuffling can overcome shitty writing. |

When E got his initial call up, they put the IC title on him right away, but as is the case for most NXTers, his push dried up after a month. Fortunately, he was able to remake himself as part of The New Day, which VKM never imagined getting over. |
