Aleister Black nor Keith Lee are ready. They spent all that time doing sod all with Black when they could have been building him up. I suppose he was injured but they kept it quiet. Lee is over to an extent but I find it very difficult to believe he'd be called up and rushed that quickly. Quite frankly Orton would be better since he's a fav now and he could get retribution for Brock hard way cutting him open. I don't know if they ever had a re-match after that since it was ages ago but I can't remember one. And of course there is always a possibility of Cena...

What's up with the spam videos of old footage of Roman being popular? One of them has 4 million plus views and it's only been up a few days. It's fucking shite btw but the thumbnail is amusing.

I just looked at the wwe youtube page for raw highlights and scrolling through the title names and thumbnails it looked like the most boring pile of shite imaginable. How has it gotten to be sooo bad...

Old footage of Roman being popular? That's gotta be from the first run of the Shield, because it all went to hell quick after they broke up.

- waaay too many heels now... - best / most charismatic wrestlers are all heels... - constantly breaking up tag teams... - constantly putting your signature belt on an overpaid part-timer who shriveled up like a grape when the new drug policy went into effect... - yet another failed wedding angle... and an interracial one, at that... - the CEO of the company publicly proclaiming his love of the above angle... - using the 24/7 belt, not to push a wrestler who the company might see something in, but to keep putting it on the same comedy wrestler, who is one of the CEO's closest friends... - a wrestler who is so bad, they have to re-name a city for him to try and get him over... - a wrestler who is so bad, his finisher is called "a Superman Punch"... - two of the best wrestlers in the company, who make far better faces than heels, are now head of separate three-man heel factions... - a Smackdown announcer Tweeting his disdain (using four-letter words) of how bad Raw is these days... - a rumored main event for WM featuring an MMA fighter, essentially sending a message to the locker room that no one there is good enough to main event WM... - leaking the possibility of a 66-year-old wrestler, with multiple back and knee surgeries, and a history of doing stupid shit, like making racist remarks and having sex with his best friend's wife and taping it, co-headlining WM... - taking two of your best and most charismatic female wrestlers, who happen to be Japanese, and turning them into a heel tag team, because of course, Asians never get over as faces, right Shinsuke? ... oh, those hgihlights? Must've missed those... lmao! |

The footage was from WM against HHH mixed with spam. Just puzzled why so many would watch that shit, maybe they thought it was porn cos of the thumbnail. I guess the guy got serious social media game.
As for WWE, I think the product is too polished and doesn't have any fucking real grittiness to it. If something starts serious it normally ends in comedy. Terrible scripts, inconsequential matches thrown together, hardly anybody relatable, older stars still revered as greatness and most retired without truly putting anybody over. And when they do try like with that Kurt Angle retirement, they make it a fucking shambles, and is Baron more over for it or is it just merely a merit for his side info screen when he comes to the ring. Right there is proof enough for me they can't make anybody anymore. How can performers make big names out of themselves if they are so restricted. I'll watch the rumble cos it's very difficult to stave that one off, it has fuckloads of nostalgia attached to it but they are getting a lot less memorable and mundane. I can remember all the winners without having to look them up from the 90s and early 2000s but after that I'd have to look them up, bar a few. Sorry for being all over the place with this post |

Observing from the outside, the Lana/Lashley/Rusev angle sounds like a bunch of things happening just for the sake of "getting a reaction" instead of having any real purpose, motivation, or forward momentum behind it. Basically an attempt at "crash TV" in 2020, but without the rest of the show having more intricate plots to actually get invested in at the same time
