Not only is it slow these days, but every download randomly freezes at some point.

LOL FF still drops the download as a network error for free users. Might be time to stop using this dog as a file host here. Can't remember the last time I was able to get a free DL from them.

Shame really. There was a time when this was one of my favourites, and a go-to host alongside Zippyshare. But then the consistency dropped and I haven't used them in months. Sad to hear they've gotten even worse Karmafan. Oh well.
FileFactory came and lost it. Suprafiles came and lost it. Openload is here but I will predict it will lose it before long. It's amazing that Zippyshare is still as great as it always was.

The last 3 times I renewed my FF sub it only cost me $39 for a year. A small price to pay for fast downloads with no interruptions. Plus you can search for files with a premium membership, I don't know of any other host that has that feature.

I like Zippy too, the problem is it sets off anti-virus all the time for spyware and ransomware.

I use JDownloader2, and for me Zippy does not set off Avast, and is ultrafast and without any captchas whatsoever. It's easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

That's the kicker for me. It's affordable and they actually give you the chance to renew subscriptions at that same price.

the problem is that the factory doesn't pay the uploaders, which in turn results in fever links.

Apparently they do pay some of their uploaders - ones that have been around for years. But not any new ones.
