Talk about the most predictable PPV of perhaps all time. There were some heavy favorites that I and, according to the tip thread, most others thought would win and they all ended up winning. Hardy was the only one I wasn't very confident on and even he ended up taking it.

The main event was so predictable that this happened. Before the match I was talking to my gf and saying, if somehow Reigns doesn't win, I think Strowman would take it. If not him, Rollins, Balor, Cena, Elias, in descending order, and the Miz has less than a zero percent chance. And that was exactly their order of elimination.

It wasn't a bad match, in fact I don't think any of the matches were necessarily bad (although I fell asleep on The Bar one), and overall it was a decent show. Just give the people what they want once in a while, Vince. You hear those boos for Reigns. People hate the guy. Stop trying to force it.

If they weren't trying to force Roman and let him be more .. normal, along with getting rid of that dumbass vest thing, I think he'd be more enjoyable in the main event scene and likable overall but they don't. I know they want Roman to be the next Cena but the age of 'Supermen' in wrestling is done and should really run more towards crowd reaction but then again WWE doesn't do wrestling anymore, they do Sports Entertainment.

I found quite hilarious that when Roman and Strowman were the last 2 left in the Chamber people started booing and I think they muted the arena mics because they knew what was coming. I can't think of a worse way of booking that match, you have Strowman, the people's favorite, destroying everyone and eliminating everyone just for the Big Dawg can take him down. They could have at least eliminate him after eating 5 finishers, not with that bullshit. And the match wasn't even that good to begin with, I actually liked the Womens EC more, while I was expecting to see Alexa winning there were moments where you felt she can lose, unlike in the mens chamber. The rest of the card was just there and the Rousey contract signing segment had a rough start (she is not very good at promos, needs a mouthpiece), but it recovered at the end when she changed from "Happy to be here" Ronda to "I'm gonna kick your ass" Ronda. Not looking forward to the Mixed tag match though.

I agree with you guys but I also feel wrestling has always kind of been like that. I remember when I was first watching Hogan had already started to lose popularity. But they still kept pushing him down people's throats over guys the crowd got behind like Bret. Then in the 90s Vince had a love affair with HBK and he was allowed to get away with anything he wanted even though he was never the number one guy with the crowd. The Cena stuff speaks for itself. Overall I feel there are always guys who are the "chosen guy" of the company and others who the fans prefer.

As for the chamber matches, I agree the women's was better. Even though Alexa was the favorite it told a good story and it wasn't a guarantee she would win. In the men's, I believe they always turn down the volume when Roman is going to win. It's sad what it led up to. But I also feel like Strowman felt too overpowered in that. I could see if his finisher was something really devastating. But a simple powerslam finished off every single guy in that match other than Roman? These are the best WWE has to offer? I felt it didn't make Strowman look powerful, but rather the other guys seemed weak.

The women's chamber match was better simply because the women's wrestlers are pretty much all equal. Sure you've got some who are better wrestlers than others but generally speaking most of the female roster is all the same physically speaking.

The men's chamber match was going to turn out like that regardless of how we wanted. Balor wasn't going to win because he just wasn't going to win. Elias hasn't really done much so he didn't really deserve that ride to Wrestlemania. Miz was there to be the major heel heat and let's be honest, Brock would run over him like a freight train. Rollins, oh Rollins. Seth actually had a fairly good shot at winning. He's a big main event, he's a great worker, and babyface SR Champ would be new so he had a decent shot. Reigns was always in the picture to win so there isn't anything that needs to be said there. And everyone's number #1, Strowman, should've won. I know they've always had Reigns in that slot and Strowman's gone up against Lesnar three times now but they keep punking us out there so I believe he should've had it.

I think if Strowman had Roman-esque looks he would have won. I really feel it comes down to petty crap like that. We can't send someone who looks like Strowman to represent us on some shitty show. If Rousey's a total uggo skank they wouldn't have signed her.

Some backstage stooge had it for Dana and Alexa, lots of close ups on them I noticed. It's all about looks with these lot. That's why that NXT Aussie chick is a getting a boob job so she can get called up, she got it figured out.

The show was there. I can't say I particularly enjoyed any of it, it all felt average. I think we need some f'n star power because this equal level everyone is on is becoming boring as fuck.
