I said this months ago, and I'll say it again. When I think of Paige being in a movie, I expect an action flick where she's shooting and blowing shit up like Rambo.

WWE has not promoted this PPV very well. Most people (me included) could not tell you all the matches on the card. Thats not good. I don't even think there is a single "Survivor Series (5vs5)" type match on the card.

They announced a 5v5 match today, no names yet though. The build-up has been rubbish probably due to Seth's injury causing chaos.

All I'm looking forward to is the ending of the world title match and that could go badly. Maybe Owens against Ambrose also. Not expecting much from this show at all and if no heel turn occurs at the end then it'll feel like a big let down.
As for Raw, they opened the show with the tribute and then Undertaker is the first guy who shows up... thought that was a bit distasteful. Kalisto and ADR was terrible, expected much better. I think ADR wants to be only Latin star in the promotion, he doesn't seem to get on well with the others. Roman cut a Cena promo. Give a state of the union, suck up to the crowd, make a bunch of promises... Cena promo... And they wonder why he gets booed. Charlotte can't get her facts straight, cringe worthy viewing, and then they have to throw a tragedy curve ball to get Paige some heat and it was not classy at all. |

I don't think anyone have made the comparison of the maint event angle with charlote and paige kinda have some simalarities to the usual ronda rousey angle in the ufc.
The last couple of fights rondas opponents have made some remarks against rondas father, and we all know how much of a fan of ronda steph and hhh is in real life. So if it hadn't been for ronda I doubt we would have seen the divas in a main event angl, nor do I think they would have metioned Reid. |

HHH/Steph fucked up the Diva Invasion and they know it. They brought these girls in and the Bella's still ran all over the division and all the positive buzz they were hoping to get they didn't get.

I think the women getting the last segment Monday was more a consequence of Seth's injury than WWE's continued flirting with Ronda Rousey. They would totally have gone home with a Seth and Roman staredown if they could have and if Ronda is the reason they mentioned Reid, I'm not sure that is a way to gain points.
I should watch the segment again, but my first reaction was that it didn't go as badly as I thought it would given them ending the show with a women's contract signing. But not having HHH or Steph out there was a mistake, almost proclaiming 'we don't give a damn' when comparing to the Bayley/Sasha feud where, at the least, William Regal was out there(if not HHH) to lend significance to what's happening. As for the Reid issue; sure it was used to humanize Charlotte more and got Paige even more heat, but did they have to go that far? What if Charlotte instead mentions tough times as an oblique reference to Reid? Would get the job done without seeming to go too far when Paige goes for the attack later on. |

You're smart enough to know that was doom right when they started calling it a "Divas Revolution" It was all for marketing and nothing more. A revolution is something big that occurs and makes history and is named AFTER it's over, not during it.

NXT, three Womens matches and two segments all in an hour... bit much... and the new Bayley chant gets incredibly annoying after a while and it was in full annoying force on this show.
Skank Eva Marie is getting a title shot after beating up some nothing jobbers... the crowd should give her no reaction to show nobody cares but frankly they don't know the meaning of quiet, so they end up giving her all the heel heat left in wrestling. To me she has obviously been sent down as a Vince/Dunn project because they like her but she was super green and frankly shit, and still is, even though I'm guessing being trained by Del Ray of all people. I can't imagine HHH has any say over it otherwise he wouldn't allow this crap but idk, maybe he is on the bandwagon too. |
