As far as games well if I could detach from Minecraft to play something else it would be Parasite Eve (PS1) and Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1) old school favorites that I'm enjoying (beat Parasite Eve, grinding to face the last boss in the Chrysler Building) for what might be the last time in my life considering the infinitely long backlog I have.

Sony totally dropped the ball on the PS5 rollout. By the time they become readily available, PS6 will probably be in development.

As far as games, the last one I played was Wolfenstein: The New Order. Really enjoyed it too. I was playing Dragon Age Inquisition, but after logging in over 100 hours of playing time, I started to get bored with it and took a break.

Sony dropping the ball was on par to the release of E.T. that nearly ended the gaming industry but now I'm just being dramatic.

Didn't they release a new controller for the PS5 and announce another version of the PS5 that isn't the slim?

At least when they do release the PS5 Slim the console will be more easily affordable and readily available especially if the PS6 is out by then.

I haven't heard about a new controller or another version. I was hoping to maybe get one for Christmas, but doesn't look like that's going to happen. That's okay. I still have a bunch of games for PS4 and PS3 that I haven't yet played.

They didnt screw up the rollout that much, they made their money thats all corperations care about. Then it was pandemic so a LOT of people w/ too much time on their hands created botsniping, a bunch of bots that text them on their phone as soon as stock comes in at any box store and...now they are all gone, these guys swooped them all up so we have no chance of getting one unless we pay 2000-3000$ or more for their pile of ps5s their sitting on...Sony made the money they set out tomake off ps5 so they dont care and this process continues: PS5 pro AND Slim version seems to have a release of christmas 2023...they created a factory to make the microchips that have slowed production down severely so that should be a solid date:

Im just glad theres a new Tales of Legend coming out next year (playing new game + for 3-4 now)

Most people buy a PS4-PS5 as standalone Blu-Ray/Blu-Ray 4K players, anyway. So there's also just that.
It's definitely cheaper buying a PS as a Blu-Ray 4K player with Dolby Vision support, than it is buying a Denon/Pioneer/Panasonic whatever dedicated Blu-Ray 4K player.

posted 4 days ago probably about ps5 version but @ least its something my previous thing was BS i guess. wish they would mention a ps4 version/date...really wanna play that...and tactics ogre: reborn and person 4 and suikoden 1& 2 though Ive played them alredy twice or more they did upgrade the graphics on it quite a bit seeing as the og was on ps1...hopefully sqaure will remake FF Tactics too! quick edit note this new game looks rad: Evil West!! Kinda survival horror meets red dead redemption with a more arcade twist!

It gets worse...I watched aboout half this video to see the GTA 6 footage (if its even in there) and they said the price point for the PS5 Pro...I have not the heart to tell you...

San Andreas is an evergreen. Fired it up a year ago. V was one of the few titles I really wanted to play, but my potato pc couldn't handle. Something to look forward to during retirement. lol
Right now I'm really just playing Mortal Kombat 11 and CSGO. Don't feel like getting into anything too immersive these days.
I tried Wolfenstein New Order and Bulletstorm during the summer, but got bored fast. Both games look great and even their stories aren't bad at all, but the action is too scripted. Oh, the Mad Max game occupied me for a while. Really good, but the thrill wanes after finishing the main story and side quests as the action can get too repetitious.
