Didn't expect anything, but it's solid entertainment.

On another note. There is, like a trend, mostly on network shows, that they'll
show the opening title, after the show is already running like 8-12 minutes.
Hard to get used to that, I think it messes with pacing.

The Creamcheese is supposed to be annoying: without it, this show would be extremely boring.

Annoying characters are very important in mockumentaries: just look at Lord Christopher Haden-Guest's (5th Baron Haden-Guest and Lady Jamie Lee Curtis' husband) role as Nigel Tufnel in This Is Spinal Tap (a film that should be required viewing to anyone with even the remotest curiosity about 80s hair metal and should also be compulsory to be seen by any aspiring rock musician).

House of the Dragon was underwhelming.

And for a show that Ian McShane once famously referred to as Tits & Dragons, the tits were pretty underwhelming.
Sonoya Mizuno is an attractive lady but she doesn't really have GoT-ready tits.
Remember that when GoT had actresses let their puppies breathe in the early seasons, they included gals like Esmé Bianco.



Considering the pre-existing relationship that HBO has with her, they should have just let Sydney Sweeney guest star as a brothel girl on House of the Dragon.

Sweeney has joined the MCU, hasn't she!? We can forget about seeing her goods anytime soon anymore, if that's the case. It's an intercourseless multiverse.
I'll keep watching HoD, but underwhelming is right. I've waded through worse fantasy-schlock, though I have to admit that in ep 1 there wasn't even one character or performance that really captivated my interest. I wasn't expecting anything, haven't read the sources, but was surprised that this show doesn't really look or feel much better than "The Wheel of Time". Maybe it looks a bit cheaper so far actually.
Some of the scenes during the duels were good though. I hope that in the future, if they go all "gore & violence" they refrain from those awkward fast cuts.
