The Up/download Host Requests thread rules state:

Rule changes are coming.

The specific wordings are in debate, but they will resemble:

Requests...

• Must be fulfillable solely from the linked post. i.e. The linked post must include an active file host containing the content in the desired resolution.
• Must not be changed except to add missing information or additional file hosts. i.e. Do not add or change requested content.

There will be some leeway in terms of repercussions of linking a post with dead links as it is technically possible for the files to be removed in between a user posting their request and the request being checked, but repeated violations or attempts to use weaponized incompetence as a means of bypassing this rule will not be tolerated.

How do you know if a file host link is working? Click on it.

While it should be obvious when it is not, I'm making a collection of images of what it shows so that people can't pretend they didn't know.
