The Book of Boba Fett

This is a spin-off from The Mandalorian.

Only one episode out so far (there will be 7 in total).

It's pretty good, but based on the first episode, IMHO not as good as The Mandalorian (though it is close and definitively worth a watch).

I only recently started watching on YouTube Pawn Stars, a reality TV show centring on a famous Las Vegas store (World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop) that buys or pawns interesting items from members of the public.

At the helm, is Rick Harrison, a man who bears an uncanny resemblance to The Shield's late star Michael Chiklis.

This lead me to episodes of another series: Hardcore Pawn.

The latter (American Jewelry and Loan) is a low down take on the genre, and features exploitation of poverty, and a general lack of sympathy and empathy towards desperate people.

I was pained to watch them at work.

Bolivar (on Netflix)

Currently struggling my way through Netflix's Series 1 of Bolivar. If the notion of the McGuffin (a plot construct) is a real term in filmic drama then this series suffers in spades from a criticism that Hitchcock allegedly once made: an elephantiasis of the McGuffin. Ye gods. Series 1 has already reached episode 23 and most of its predecessors are completely extraneous to the narrative. Regrettably as I'm interested in The Liberator as an historical and political phenomenon, I'll just have to see it through. Wish me luck.

Inventing Anna

A television miniseries inspired by the New York magazine article "How Anna Delvey Tricked New York's Party People" by Jessica Pressler.

Starring Julia Garner in the titular role, she pulls it off excellently, despite some hate on the accent she uses.

Supporting cast are also spot on, particularly Anna Chlumsky as Vivian Kent, the journalist who uncovers the web of lies and deceit.

Good stuff.

I was curious over the show as Mindy Kaling is the writer of the show and after 1st ep it's a good series to watch if anyone has heard and seen it.

Anyways just wondering as the new series has not come out in the UK yet, but i believe it has in the states. I was wondering whether there is any good nude and/or sexy scenes in the series to look out for like in previous seasons?
