How is this controversial? They just said that they were better than the Road Warriors. What? Is that something disrespectful? They're heels, and they were doing their job. Not in a single moment did they take a shot at the late Road Warrior Hawk. They were bragging about being more destructive than Demolition and LOD! I don't watch TNA, much less ROH. Sometimes I watch NJPW when I read about good matches, specially if Okada is involved in those.

My bad, I thought it was about promotions. I miss J.R., but every now & then he does some stuff for FOX Sports (i.e. TV gigs, blogs on FOXSports.com). He's also very busy with his podcast show on Podcast 1.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the Ascension's promo. I liked it.

WWE ANNOUNCES NEW BROADCAST TEAMS AS A PART OF SMACKDOWN'S MOVE TO THURSDAY NIGHTS

As SmackDown prepares to move to Thursday nights next week on Syfy, WWE Universe members will be seeing some new faces behind both the Raw and SmackDown announce desks.

On Raw, Michael Cole and JBL will be joined each week by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, while the new SmackDown announce team will consist of Cole, newcomer Byron Saxton and incomparable WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler. Cole, JBL and Lawler will continue to call the action during WWE pay-per-view events.

Check out both of these announce teams in action on Raw, Monday night at 8/7 CT on USA Network, and SmackDown on its new night, Thursday at 8/7 CT on Syfy!

Yeah, JBL has the same problem with Rusev in a way. He does put him over, but he was definitely against him while they were heavily pushing the USA/Russia angle.

I kinda hope Cole is back to just play-by-play for Smackdown, he really seemed to undercut Tom at times.

A question for the people who think the Ascension went too far in their promo regarding the Road Warriors: Did you feel the same way about CM Punk dicking about with the urn in the run-up to his Wrestlemania match with the Undertaker? If yes, fine. If no, why not?

Actually they are 3 entrants in RR, Rusev put his name on it during ME, but I see your point. Fact is that now that DB is back they are screwed, they want to push Roman but they know if Bryan loses they got another Batista moment in their hands and they don't want that, with Roman closing the entrance in both Raw and SD.


WK9 was ridiculously good, specially the Fatal 4 way tag match, AJ's match, Nakamura's match and the main event (Tanahashi-Okada must be the greatest rivalry now, they always deliver)

The long rumored (since last summer) WM main event is supposed to be Roman Reigns vs. Brock (defending his belt). If that's the case then the outcomes of at least 2 RR matches are easy to figure out.

They're not screwed if they just hold off the Roman push and run with D Bryan again. The guy is still over and fans wanna see him.. from a business stand point they better do it and make some money off him.. or just prove this is the dumbest company ever.
