The answer is pretty simple. Fame = money. The more famous and successful a model/actress/pornstar/whatever is, the more money she can ask for (and mostly get). At that point you don't pay for sex anymore, you pay to bang fame. Its, unfortunately, the way our capitalist world works.

Also, the more money you have, the more inconsequential it becomes. Its easy to spend $10.000 for a day/night with a pornstar when, at your wealth, it would be like us buying a pack of gum.
