Yeah, I was baffled. The "world richest person", trying to walk away from a signed deal. LOL -- So funny, how he insisted on not buying it, until he finally actually crunched the numbers on what that would've cost him.

In the early days Twitter was excellent. Every day people having conversations with politicians, writers journalists film & TV people, musicians etc.
Then it boomed in "investor expectation" into the rival to faecesbook and the mobs, lunatics and bots moved in and the whole thing went to crap. I saw too many flame wars and too much misinformation before I quit it. I feel better for not being anywhere near social media. When Musk announced his intention to buy Twitter stock price in Tesla and Space-X shot up. When he tried to pull out it levelled off. When he announced the lawyer encouraged U-Turn it fell off a cliff. Now it's pretty clear he never had any kind of plan to turn the company around which proves he never had any intention of buying the company in the first place. I don't care how rich you are. No one seriously puts $44bn on the table without a plan. Yet he's scrabbling around looking for ways to plug the holes in a collander before it sinks. I'm a little sad Twitter might die because of this, but I'm not sad Musk is losing his shirt over it. Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy. Between this and the realization that Jeff Bezos had built a fleet of orbital sex toys I'm finding my quotient of amusing billionaire schadenfreude is being healthily met.

Remember the good old days? I miss them ! Everyone was in chat forums and sharing cool stuff with people from around the world. Learning new things all the time! Of course the web-speed was much to be desired and some times we took like 2+ hours to download just ONE SONG from an album ! LOL But a few years later things got better in speed, but also took a turn for the crazy. People lost touch of how cool it is to have such a wonderful thing as the intenet and world communication. The reason I still enjoy using this forum alot is that we all respect each other, no matter what our personal ideas and we share cool stuff with friends with a common interest. It is rare to see this in many other forums. People in other places are always fighting and doing crazy stuff just to have a "thumbs up" click! Planetsuzy is unique and I hope it stays that way for many more years!

I agree with the first part of that completely. I miss the old newsgroup days whenrespect was agiven and no one needed rules because we all behaved like decent human beings.
Experience has taught me to have real reservations about the second part though. Some people need to understand the difference between strong healthy debate and flaming, and some poeple who are put in positions of responsibility shouldn't be trusted to run a bath. This is a big forum with a alot of power on the net but it doesn't use it well or for the good of its members. But that's my view from my experience. I don't expect anyone to get in line with me. So. Elon Musk. What a twat, eh?

I bet he's not alone, because they're all followers of Electric Jesus!!! AKA thanks for the free money, now fuck off until I announce my next vaporware. I hope my friend's friend and all the other people don't get "CyberFucked", but I'm not holding my breath. I don't know the legality of these deposits. Does that bind Tesla to actually make this truck, or an approximation of what they showed? There's a release date of 2023. We'll see....

I wouldn't buy a single thing from Musk, even if it is just a $10 pencil holder.
The FTC's Bureau of Consumer Protection should be in charge of checking whether Musk committed fraud (by selling snake oil) and if there is a possibility to file a lawsuit against him.

I never heard this word before, but sounds hilarious ! " Electric Jesus " I feel sorry for those people who follow "fashion and trends" just to be the first in town to have something to brag about to their friends. Unfortunatelly there are always con-men ready to take their money and then laugh at them. Be smart people... never pay for something you actually never touched.

Just another reason to hate this c***. BTW "Electric Jesus" is funny as hell but isn't he "Battery Jesus"? And doesn't that make him a fat lumpy dildo? Given that he's a battery c*** is Elon Must in fact The Living Fleshlight?

The bottom line is that Musk is a capitalist, and capitalism benefits a tiny minority over the workers who actually create their wealth.
