The light on Roessa’s skin in this clip is exquisite, and her movement in and out of shadow brings a dark beauty to the frame. She is gentle with herself in a way that still gives way to intensity, and I love the way she rubs her feet together when she’s satisfied.

This is the first of the Up Close series which has made use of ‘accessories’, and now that I’ve seen it, I’d love to see it more often. Sometimes it’s hard to get your head around exactly what a particular toy is doing, but when shot in this style, its eroticism is quite clear.

Glynn is one of those people whose face betrays so much of what’s happening in her mind – she’s always had a strong connection between internal processes and external signifiers, whether it’s a verbal expression or a physical one, which makes her fascinating to film.

The line between ‘not quite’ and ‘too much’ is a thin one, and Jaide crosses it in a split second. Thank goodness no lights were overturned in the projectile reaction she had to doing so – otherwise the whole aftermath would have been lost to darkness. Note to producer: sandbags on lamp stands. You never know what these ladies are going to do in there.

Yikes. I’ll just admit that I’m a little uncomfortable watching myself be pleasured by two beautiful women. This is a type of hedonism that even I can’t quite wrap my head around. Yes, I know it’s ridiculous, but you’ve also probably never tried it yourself, so I think you should just accept the task of watching it for me and we’ll leave it at that.

There appears to be not even a hint of consciousness about her situation in Cinny D’s debut – this is one of those films in which it really and truly seems that this is just one of many sessions quite the same. I hope so, because it really looked fun.
