Yeah, I know all about the plot and the character of House.
And I think Hugh Laurie did a great job at playing an American doctor, judging from the few episodes I saw.
I might give it a chance, after I have finished watching the X-Files (I started rewatching it after a long time, next year, and currently i'm on Season 9).

More than likely I will watch it late at night. Definitely not while i'm eating.

list missed harry treadaway, who was SPECTACULAR as narek in picard. in the end tho he made a slight turn towards good, leaving his yank sister (peyton86 list) as the real evil one.

narek's sister had enuf of a romulan lilt that the diff betw the actors' accents was not really an issue. but has anyone here ever seen the original lost horizon (1937)? the elder brother is the UK emissary to china -- with posh accent to match -- while the younger brother is an american actor channeling jimmy cagney. no explanation is made in the story whatsoever -- e.g., latter being raised in the US or something -- he just shows up as the younger brother sounding like he wandered in from a chicago speakeasy! very odd casting choice.

I am humbled by the extensive knowledge of Brit villany. No wonder the Union Flag is oft described as a butcher's apron.
