Did any fans of the 3rd Doctor's run recognize the part that the Master had in his pocket after Missy slammed him into the wall to tell him he should carry an extra one of those in his pocket? Which makes me kind of wonder, just how often does the Master bathe? I mean, he's been there nearly a thousand years and yet never once checked his pocket? Ewww. It looked like the one the 3rd Doctor had problems with in the early part of his run on the series. He even once stole the Master's version, but it was in compatable with his model. |

You need to watch that scene again mate.
It wasn't in his pocket, it was in Missy's. OK, that shot was a bit dark, and depending on the quality of the encoding it was an easy mistake to make. My copy came from the BBC iPlayer, and it was quite clear. Missy definitely pulled it out of her own blouse and then showed it to him. Watch it again. |

I stand corrected. http://youtu.be/KNzMDzDMJ5w?t=11s I think it was her words that threw me. Her recollection, as it were. |

There's something I must be missing here. This season started damn near perfect with "The Pilot". They made the Doctor "Human" again. Maybe 24 years with River did that, who knows? Yet these last two episodes to clean up the series before the regeneration to me was just "eh?". The fact they kind of let Bill have the ability to return if needed in a future plot line with those tears was about all I found to be possibly interesting in next season or a future date. I know I'm in the minority here, but I kind of knew too much already in how the season was going to end and it just did not have that punch I expected for a season ender.

I pretty much felt the same way. There were a few surprises. Well, the Christmas Special is still yet to air, so maybe something unknown awaits us? |

Master/Missy obviously regenerates to a female time lord as both mentioned during the last regular episode. and we know that Capaldi is not returning for the season 11 ,so he regenerates again and if not possible a actor who played the Doctor before will switch in for one or a half season ,like David Bradley did in the last moments of the last episode.pretty clear both will be involved in the christmas special ,but due to the age of Bradley ,i doubt he is capable of playing the doctor like capaldi or the actors before capaldi. i for one would find it cool if Bradley would play the Doctor again for some episodes. |

Technically, David Bradley had never played the character of the Doctor before the last few moments of this just-aired episode. Previously,he played William Hartnell in a biographical movie about the actor's time on Doctor Who. But he did not actually play the Doctor. |

A female doctor would be not so good due to the fact thats pretty sure Michelle Gomez will return as Missy again next season. finding a new doctor is not easy, lots of uk dudes around but the budget is strongly limited. |
