Giving people crap about the way they conduct their wedding is just tacky.
When my wife and I got married, myself and my groomsmen wore tuxes, but we all wore tennis shoes just for a laugh. It turned out just fine. |

If Seven Churches was still here, he would have posted gifs of these videos.
Oh well. Thought I'll share these anyway. This was from last week's RAW. I couldn't hear the crowd singing "John Cena Sucks!" over his music and commentary. It was awesome though. HHH did not attend the .com interview last week, so we got Paul Heyman instead.

His departure was a bit too sudden and I can't help but think it was because of a moderator.
Nothing I can do about it. I guess it's too late now. Moving on...this is Paul Heyman's prediction for Cesaro. Excellent choice of words from the greatest manager of all time. Bo Dallas' occupy NXT segment was pretty funny. I liked the part where he said "How can you do this to me? I gave you cookies!"

Smackdown was a snorefest. After it finished I honestly felt like it was a waste of time. If they don't really care it'd be better if they just got rid of it and had Raw, NXT to take SD's place and maybe make it 2 hours? Fill it with training montages and shit, in depth looks at these newbies and show the potential up and comers from the training center. Keep Main Event for the jobbers to have some camera time.

the most noteworthy thing was Fandango and Layla.

she smells like cinnamon toast crunch Cesaro the king of swing. I am going to buy that t shirt. Quote:
I'm just putting it down to achievements ( in WWE) Heyman has the better CV. that old dvd that came out,'best managers ever' needs to be revised. At least we are getting the Paul Heyman dvd soon. Bo Dallas is comedy gold. |

The unification of the world championships badly hurts Smackdown. Now they have to find a way to get viewership the way they did during 1999-2002 run, which will be extremely hard because there's no Stone Cold, no Rock, no Attitude Era level of interest anymore. Brand extension was actually great the first 3 years(2002-05) when SD had to produce storylines for the WWE championship and U.S. title. The 2006 ECW brand experience didn't even hurt it too much either because you had Batista, Undertaker, Rey, Booker T and Edge(who switched Raw to SD a lot) on Smackdown.
From 2008 and on, the brand extension product lost its value due to superstars frequently switching shows because they were either drafted there or cashed-in their MITB briefcase to win one of the belts. I think SD and the WHC officially died as a second brand and second world title when Jack Swagger cashed-in his briefcase to win the WHC from Jericho because that was the start of up-and-comers and veterans winning the WHC. Some people were still interested in SD because it gave new faces a place to show their skills. Now SD has nothing. I do like the idea of NXT taking its place. I don't see the purpose of SD anymore other than being a throwaway show.

I'm not sure what sort of tribute they will do for Warrior. Daniel Bryan has some Warrior like mannerisms. Maybe Batista shakes the ropes harder, might not be a good idea if he has to start a match. If he is tagging, he can stand outside. Videos.

I never really bother with Smackdown. its just like WWE overkill for me and I don't need to see it. Usually if I do watch, it doesn't take long. The fast forward button is there for a reason. In the old days when it was two brands you had your favorite brand, but it was brands. Not having the same guys everywhere gave you more reason to watch the other show. Already mentioned above about Smackdown having the main event talent during the original run. That was more reason to watch it. If more up and comers start getting pushed. Raw was a good sign, if you make stars out of them, that is the objective, I always thought that was the objective and I'm sure it is. Its just how WWE decides to do things. Right now it is looking good. It can change so quickly. but yeah, Smackdown is Raw extra. The best title I heard for it. Cause of Warrior death. Exactly what I was expecting. Quote:
I heard they are doing a legends roundtable. My bs meter will be switched on here. I guess it depends who is talking about him. Awk well. Life is strange. |
