I've tested one of the files and got 5 MB/s. For a free download, this is pretty damn good. 1fichier's speeds usually vary, depending on time of the day/server load. I usually get speeds between 2 MB/s and 25 MB/s. Can't remember getting speeds below 2 MB/s.

Could be an unfortunate routing problem where any part of the route between you and 1fichier's servers limit the speed.

I started to download it as a test and I was getting between 4-5 Mbps going as high as 7.

At 38.45 GBif I was to DL with any other host it would be a 3 day affair

I just had an internal server error message while trying to upload a file and I've seen other posters in the up/download host requests thread comment the same thing over the last few days.

It took me several tries to upload earlier today:

I assume most people uploading on 1fichier are doing it without an account because accounts are limited to 1tb and you can quickly hit that cap with as many requests there are in the up/down thread. I do the same on some files.

I was uploading to an account (I'm posting the scene in PATM, so I want the 30 days between downloads before deletion over 15 and to be able to easily retrive the link in case of DMCA), had it say internal server error, but the file was still listed in the uploaded files and was able to retrieve a link. I'm testing it by downloading the file, but that's possibly a temporary solution.

Annoyingly, you can't register an account with a 10-minute mail email address, so you'd have to go to slightly more effort for a throwaway email address.

I do have a premium account with unlimited storage that I use for my posts outside of Up/download Host Requests.
The error occurs there the same way.
I am using FileUploader (zoom) and have increased the timeout limit in the application from 120 to 240 seconds. That seems to work for now, for me at least.

I've been unable to download successfully from 1fichier today. Downloads begin normally but then fail soon after.

Anyone else?

Considering I'm trying to upload a 6.43 gb 4k file, not knowing if it is actually uploading is annoying.
