I originally posted this in the General Discussion section, where Daeliseog's thread was. I did not removed anything from the original Daeliseog's thread. I only moved and merged it as is.
So, by merging the two threads, my post also got moved, along with Daeliseog's one.

Last sentence was simply a kind invitation to post any further questions/concerns he might have with the forum, HERE, in Forum Help.

I don't know if someone already said any of this or not.

1-When creating post there could be an option to indicate the host present on that post. That way a person could go to a thread and filter the hosts that they wanted.

2-We could have a search option for "search in this order". Instead of appearing every single post that contains the words we search it would only appear the post that contained the words in the order that we wrote.

This would make finding files so much easier

On my adult forum I use thread prefixes it is 2 or 3 letters to let everyone know that file host is in the thread. My forum I only allow great file host like Letsupload.to 1Fichier 7-Up Hxfile Dropapk DDL.to Zippyshare

This has been suggested before and I agree with it though one of the moderators did not understand how this benefited people.

That was months ago and I have to say I really wish PS would do this more today than back then; Filehost indications for threads. There is another site where thread creators can, and most do, indicate what filehost or hosts they use; listed on the main page of all threads a few columns over. I now find myself picking threads without K2s and fboom as my threads to follow.

It would really be nice to know, especially in the explicit content area, what threads are not k2s as they all seem to be k2s; my downloads with it and fboom regularly fail.

Well, the benefits are obvious. I don't have that problem with k2s and fb but I do have with Uploaded. If I could go to a thread and select only files from ZS, K2S, FB and DF that would be incredible because those are the best ones (especially ZS & DF). I hope that they do it cause that will be a very welcomed feature.
By the way you are talking about V!perg!rls right? I get tons of stuff from there that there's not here. The pic sets I just posted from Kylie Page were from there. They also have something cool that I didn't mention because it would be something a little more difficult but for images they have an app that allows them to download the photos without any host (it's still not as fast as zippyshare). The downside and the reason that I still prefer PS its because it's much more organized.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't PS at some point include a filehost code in the main header (not in individual posts) of PATM threads?

It may well be a case of 'false memory syndrome', so if anyone reading this can remember such codes being used, please to do let us know.

I guess I have two more suggestions.

1- We could search for names with 3 letters. If I'm trying to find someone like Rae Lil Black then I'll only have the threads that have Black in it. Also, if you're searching for a scene with only 3 letters word, you can't find hit (for exemple, "Hit the man and Cum", this is not a name of a scene, it'«s just an exemple. another exemple is "Fuck me in the ass and cum on me". This is a very specific tittle however it will only serach for the generic word "fuck", so there'll be a lot of results popping up)

2- Create a thread for those who have premium links to ask for help. I have a premium link from Kira Perez Vacation Day 1 and I can't even ask anyone if they can help me. There should be a place where people could ask for help from those who have premium. The link that I have is from a scene that it's not even here, so PS would only win

I don't think it was a 'setting' as such (but I could be wrong), more a case that members were listing their filehosts in the thread titles.

I think the 'great filehost purge' killed that idea off when so many hosts died, and members stopped bothering to change the list on the front page.

It used to be really annoying finding out that someone had started a thread and labelled it 'DF' only to get to page 5 and find out everything was now on 'RG'.

Not much we can do about it unless you want PlanetSuzy to grind to a halt trying to find three letter words - so although I can't say 'it will never change' - I think I can fairly safely say 'It won't change until we no longer have over 19 million posts, in over 600,000 threads on a modified vB 3 database.'

You may think I'm being a miserable bugger, but I've been a Staff Member here for more years than I care to think about, and many Staff Members predate me by years - the basic answer to these suggestions hasn't changed in all that time - largely because the basic limitations of vBulletin 3 haven't changed.
