1fichier has been one of my favorite file hosts due to its speed and reliability. However, in the past few weeks it has become increasingly unreliable to the point of being useless.

Downloads either fail to start or fail during the process.

It's quite frustrating and unfortunate considering the lack of fast and reliable file hosts on PlanetSuzy.

I just had it happen yesterday over at Vintage. It would get to halfway done and it would just stop/freeze and then after a time fail; twice; had to wait an hour for the second attempt! I quit trying.

Same here. I liked it so much I bought an account in early August. Basically because the links don't die with paid accounts and they're very affordable. Even paid for it with CRYPTO which made it even cooler. After a couple of weeks, this other cats started using it. Basically going crazy with posts. Now I hear about this. MFers be killing these upload sites man. Overloading their servers, that's my theory.

It seems to be working well again, at least for me anyway.

So I've never used this site before and so I'm not familiar with ssl encryption and inline downloading. What are those?

With the imminent demise of Zippyshare I hope the "powers that be" here at PS finally make 1fichier a required File host in the PATM threads..it's long overdue

At least one can watch the 10Gb hi-def movie that you just downloaded in less than 5 minutes with 1fichier while you wait to download the next one. Beats downloading from one of those "takes 12 hours" to download hosts

250KB/s is twice our minimum required download speed for Allowed File Hosts. The files in that post are 38gb and 14gb. What do you expect?
