Pet Peeves, dislikes, & things you don't understand in porn?

To a large extent I keep to softcore as well, like MET-Art etc. and let my imagination run like it did when I was a kid - that was the best fantasy life I had while it lasted and I guess I sort of ended up back there again (so far)

I agree very much with the original poster. My ensuing rant isn't going to do much to save the world, much less change it, but dammit - I feel I must contribute!

When I log on looking for porn what I REALLY REALLY want to see is very beautiful, non-modified (piercing, tattoos, really bad enhancements (people like Carmella Bing being an exception), etc) women having "clean" sex. I do not like anal, I do not like any sort of S&M, I dont want to see people swearing at each other - just reasonable dirty talk, etc. I am a hopeless tits man also. Basically that leaves me with very little out there today. Damn, back in the day there was quite a bit of that sort of material. Now it is so....not that great.

I agree with most of what tc said (except the bit about having sex in clothes - do it all the time!). One thing that wasn't pointed out was the dreadful directing. These guys haven't got a clue on how to light, shoot and art direct a movie.

I, personally, avoid American stuff like the plague for all the reasons stated in tc's rant. I'm from Europe and believe that the porn here is far superior - even the amateur stuff - and keeps to the principles that made the 70's stuff interesting and exciting and sexy.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it, there hasn't been a time where there's been so much choice in the adult industry, so much access and so much material.
Everyone has their own tastes which are affected by the culture around you at the time...the 70's was a vastly different time from now so what moulded your thoughts and thinking are bound to be different from those introduced to pornography in the 90's.
