Thanks for the updates on Netload, another site I use, allows this host and it nice to have some background info on them. I will avoid with a passion.

I agree they are ridiculously slow for free users, but they're fast and stable for premium accounts. And, like RS, they don't log downloads, which I think is a big plus.

The crappiest host out there hands down. I get a few bytes/sec speed (that's right bytes - 56K modem days like ) and then just times out basically. Do these clowns actually believe we will buy premium?

I never upload for any reward except to be happy when someone else can enjoy the sharing for free. My experiences with Netload is that it is just okay or average when I am DLing in Arizona or Nevada but it is unbearible when I am in New York, Boston or New Jersey. I never got to try it when I was home in España so I dont know about how it works there.

I dont use Netload to upload because I know it frusstrates so many people to use it. Thats not what I want to do.

When I see a hard-to-find file that I want is hosted on Netload, I will spend 2 hours searching for it on search engines because time wasted searching is less than the time it will take to download on Netload.

If you are in a place that gets good service for Netload, you still got to remember that other members of the forum might be in a place that simply cant use it without growing a beard.

Ummm....My Netload downloads are a fuck of a lot faster than depositfiles.

I don't use Netload to upload because it's too slower to download there. I use Depositfiles to download and upload is a little quickly than Netload.

if you have premium, you get great speeds.
also, they aren't so quick to kill links..i've seen links as old as 3 years ago, still working.

That is true for premium users. I used to have a premium account and the speeds are great. The problem is hosts need to offer acceptable speeds for free users also, which Netload doesn't in my experience with them. I get around 25 kb/s with them as a free user. It's impossible to download a file unless I buy premium.
