I used the upload image option for my profile but it doesn't seem to be appearing in any of my posts. The image is well within the limits set by the site. Any suggestions?

User profile images do not show in posts, only in your profile when someone clicks on it.

If you want an image to show under your name look in UserCP under Settings & Options. Just click on "Edit Avatar" and you will see where you can upload your avatar.

That's right: my User Profile Picture is different to my Avatar, as one can see here:

Raoul Duke 05, if you still want to change your profile picture instead of (or as well as) your Avatar, I recommend you use option 1 instead of using the in-house imagehost.

Avatar uploading is broken though. I upload it, it shows for 5 minutes, then it's gone. Similar to the thread subscriptions issue.

PS: Just watch, I'm going ahead and uploading one right now.

PPS: Aaaaaand it's gone.

We've had problems with avatar uploads before.

If I remember correctly, this is usually cause by server cache sync issues... eventually it will work, just give it time.

Could be a DB replication problem, not that I know the infrastructure behind the board...
