Mipony and NOD32 Problem
I wanted to install Mipony but when I tried to download and install the installer NOD32 told me the files were potentially unwanted applications. Specifically it said two files were:
cbsidlin-tr1_13_Mipony-SEO-10972661.exe Win32/DownloadAdmin.G potentially unwanted application and Mipony-Installer.exe a varient of Win32/InstallCore.BY potentially unwanted application Are these genuine programs that will install Mipony? Was I right to let NOD32 clean these files. I had Mipony on my computer. But something went wrong with it and I wanted to reinstall it. Thanks for your help. |

Probably the installer of Mipony has ad aware or install additional software (toolbars and so on), that's why usually NOD32 gives you such message.

the latest version of mipony is now filled with adware and malware, I'd stay away from it. It's not the same as it used to be. Use jdownloader from now on.

Been using JDownloader .9.581 for a few years. Usually worked well except every few months it seemed to go haywire, requiring an hour or so of re-installing and set up. A week ago I decided to install JD 2 beta. Even though it is still beta, I hoped it was stable and reliable.
So far, it seems much advanced to the JD .9.581. Loads very quickly and interfaces well with my premium DepositFiles! Works well also with all the free hosts I've tried. I have now un-installed JD .9.581 and am very pleased with JD beta.

Everything was working fine with JD 2 beta until an up date on Aug 1. After the update, I discover a small problem.......when I flashgot a link the link NOW goes to the linkgrabber in JD 2 instead of downloads. Small problem but it bugs me! If I copy link location it goes to the clipboard and is picked up by JD 2 and put into thr linkgrabber, as always. Problem may be in Flashgot plugin for Firefox. Did an about:config in FF but can' see anything obvious. Any suggestions will be appreciated!!
