I think porn can be OK if you use it in moderation. If you use it daily then it might get in the way of your life. I would avoid really hard porn as some of it is rather disgusting.

I've been looking at porn since I was about 5 so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with my shyness around women I don't know but I don't think it really has affected my relationships with women. For the most part I'm very open about my porn habbits (along with my gaming 'addiction') when I get to know folks and honestly I've never tried to recreate anything I've seen in porn in the bedroom just out of respect and fear of never having sex again. I think my upbringing also as alot to do with how I treat women.

Porno poses a source of negative influence. It can be viewed as demeaning and exploitative towards women to name only some of the main criticism voiced usually. Someone doesn't become that way through watching porn. Same as people don't become violent because of games or movies. Still, there is a connection that can't be ignored. While an average person's behavior wont be dictated from any of these sources, some that already have a negative disposition might be encouraged by them and mimic it. Porno and how it is perceived, is a mere symptom from unsolved issues of society and shortcomings in education and socialization...
