![]() Jake Plummer got them to the playoffs in 1998.
Kurt Warner got them to the Super Bowl in 2008. If history has anything to say about it...2018 is your year..!!! ![]() |

![]() It's a shame that Ray Horton didn't get the Cardinals job. Nothing against Bruce Arians as a coach, but it seemed like the players really liked him and were actually playing for his sake down the stretch during a lost season. At least Darnell Dockett seemed to feel that way. I would have liked to have seen what he was going to do with the Cardinals. I think he's close to getting a head coaching job though soon. Especially if he helps the Browns defense.

![]() I agree, Ray Horton will get a head coaching opportunity sooner rather than later. I am surprised that the Cards didn't at least retain him as DC. As much as I respect Todd Bowles, Ray Horton has the much better resume and experience in the 3-4 defense.

![]() I've recorded it and I'm getting caught up on it now. I like seeing how well different guys that are getting the hype can move compared to some others that were under the radar. It puts everyone on a level field. The mistake some make is putting too much emphasis on the numbers. You've also got to look at game film from their last couple seasons, any film from the Senior Bowl, East-West Shrine game, North vs South and other "all-star" games. If the Combine didn't matter, you wouldn't see so many GM's and Coaches in attendance.
It can help break out the guys that got by on system design and supporting cast. So far, there are several small school OL and TE's that looked good in the All-Star games and are putting up some amazing numbers at the combine. Don't be surprised to see Terron Armstead (T) go flying up some draft boards. Good performance on the field, great numbers here at the Combine and looked very good in the drills. He was around a 4th-5th rounder before the combine. Don't be surprised to see him go in the mid-2nd to mid 3rd now. TE's Gavin Escobar and Vance McDonald weren't getting much love before the combine. Now, they've opened some eyes. I'd love to see the Cowboys pick up McDonald in the 3rd round.

Yeah, it looks like he and Anthony Spenser (sp?) are both gone, and they are going to talk to Romo about restructuring his contract as I think he's due to make 16 million this year. I'd like to see them get something done, as I'd hate for Romo to leave/get cut and the Cowboys to find themselves a real QB. ![]() |
