![]() I have not been able to download from filefactory using jdownloader as of 2/8/2013. Before that I had no issues. Now all that happens is that it says its connecting but it never actually connects. It also no longer sees me as a premium member even though I am. I think that jdownloader is not commincating with the filefactory servers correctly. I tried restore jd and when that did not work I reinstalled the program. I can download from other hosts fine. Is anyone else have the same issue or know a fix?
Thanks for the help, Burlybear ![]() |

![]() If it says "plugin error (out of date)", it's not just you. First, go to their site and browse their boards...hopefully, someone will have reported any outstanding issue by now. (In this case, someone did report the issue, and JD does have an update ready to go.) Have to keep in mind that a few hosts, MediaFire being the most obvious one, actively code their download pages so download managers won't work. With MF, they added the "authorize download" step that JD still can't figure out how to get around.
Also, even if JD has fixed the issue, don't hold your breath. They only release updates about twice a month, and even then, there's no guarantee the fix is correct, or, that a host has found another way to avoid having their links work in download managers in the meantime. My suggestion is to either find another download manager just for the "problem child" hosts, or, open and download in your browser for the time being. I suppose at this point, we should be somewhat thankful that any host at all works these days, the way things are. |
