You must be remembered by a great many years after you leave the industry: if you can achieve that, then you're a real "pornstar".

It also helps if you have a niche, something that sets you apart from the "pack". Uschi Digard and Kitten Natividad had mammoth breasts, even though their work in porn was minimal, if at all. Let's switch "pornstar" with "porn actress". In that case, I'd say someone who has done HC on a somewhat regular basis for some time. I don't really know if I would consider someone who has appeared in one flick as a "real" adult actor/actress.
