You're 100% correct. I haven't bought one for all the reasons you described and also, where the fuck do you put that thing when you're not using it? I have a FleshLight. I've used it a few times, over the 10+ years of ownership, but the prep and cleanup are too much; You're supposed to warm it up in warm water for while (20 minutes if I remember correctly) and then of course you gotta clean the man goo out of it, dry it out (where am I supposed to leave a PUSSY SLEEVE, while it dries???) then treat it with (essentially) cornstarch (for storage). Also, I've never been with a virgin and I don't think I have an overly girthy cock, but I find the FleshLight way too unrealistically tight, for something that is supposed to replicate a 'vagina'. It's tough to explain...it's sensory overload, but not in a good way.

I also keep a small spray bottle with about a 70/30 water/lube mix, to reactivate the lube when it starts to dry, because it will, despite what the marketing tells you. Probably in a 'wet' environment like a vagina, the lube wouldn't dry out nearly as quickly, or at all. I wouldn't know......it's only been in my hand.

I'd like to find more sex toys, but the "one size fits all" FleshLight approach, has me thinking I'll be disappointed again, because they're too tight/overstimulating. honestly, not as good as I hoped. I can barely feel the thrust when it's on, so I end up using it as a regular fleshlight, which defeats the whole purpose of getting the auto-blow toy. Personally wouldn't recommend.

yea, I don't really use them almost at all, specifically because of the floppiness. The one on the right is also not very comfortable, the inner tunnel shape is weird and I've only used it couple of times. The one on the left can be tight, depending how hard you squeeze it, but it's still floppy.
